Especially since kids play and shit happens… my earrings always got caught on pillows or blankets… just get ones that are round and don’t have hooks for diamonds or whatever.
In some cultures a baby gets her ears pierced as young as 3 weeks old.
Why can’t people just chill… each to their own.

I’ve found that in my area piercing/tattoo shops won’t pierce someone under 12
Tattoo place will do it and might ask for birth certificate. She’s not asking for your opinion on the ear piercing people, just where a good place is.

Tattoo shop if they even do it for kids that young. I couldn’t find anyone who would do it under 4 years.

No reputable piercing shop is going to pierce a child under the age of 6 is ears. A shitty mall rat in a dirty kiosk will though 🤷🏻 just saying only shitty parents inflict pain on their children for vanity. Be better than that.

If you do , use her doctor office . Most do them . That’s between the parents rather you guys decide or not . Mine was done when I was very little. I don’t wear earrings unless going out but I’m 25 almost now.
I am waiting for my girls to decide just because of sports but again it’s all on the family not the internet .

I took mine to a local pharmacy that did it with the gun.
You should wait til she is 6 months. My pediatrician recommended it’s best after their 6 month shots. Tattoo shop is best

Piercing/tattoo shop. Most will do them but youll need your ID and babys birth certificate.
Tho i know some piercers will refuse to pierce a baby(the person i go to wont do it to a child taht isnt old enough to ask for it themselves)
Gun is unsafe. But most tattoo shops will refuse to do it because of age.
I wouldn’t get them done I would wait for her be old enough to get it done if she wants to

I went to a tattoo shop and pierced my eldest ears when she was 5-6mo old. It depends on where you go but i would recomend they be a professional not like a walmart or clairs.
Check with your pediatrician. Some do ear piercings.

The plastic clickers are the best, and try to go to a chemist or pharmacy if you can find one that will pierce a baby so young. And in all honesty, diluted tea tree oil won’t just kill bacteria, it’ll help them heal faster too

Piercing guns can’t be sanitized so if you take her to somewhere like Claire’s or a piercing pagoda you’re putting her at risk for communicable diseases like hepatitis.
So many negative comments. If they were pierced properly, cleaned properly, they’d heal properly and would have closed up. Don’t assume everyone is unsanitary or lazy because some parents don’t take their child to the proper place to have their kids ears pierced and can’t clean them.
I’d be willing to bet a lot of your parents had your ears pierced at some inexperienced store and with a gun.
Mine were done when I was young. I’m 35, nothing wrong with my ears and don’t remember a thing. My daughter is 15. We had hers pierced when she was about a year and a half. She just stood there. Didn’t even cry. If you want to pierce your kids ears, do it. If not, don’t. But don’t belittle another parent for it. I’m sure I can find something that most of you do that others would frown upon. For starters, having a judgy parent kind of sucks. I feel sorry for some of your kids

Don’t do that!!! Please!!! Wait till she is old enough to ask to have it done. Your child may grow up and be totally against piercings and you took that choice away from her. Please just wait.
Honestly, you’re only doing it because you personally find it Aesthetically pleasing or cute. Just don’t. Respect your child.

It’s funny how the majority of judgemental mother that are complaining are perfectly fine with mutilate their sons genitals. A tattoo parlor or a nurse. Is your best option!
