My daughter never went to daycare and she screamed continuously. Seriously—- after 4 years of extreme fussiness and crying ( yes 4 years) we had her to every specialist known to mankind, including behavioral specialists. Diagnosis??? She’s fine. Just an exceptionally fussy colicky person. It was so challenging!!!
Send something that belongs to you with her ( a scarf) maybe that will comfort her.
Maybe go spend some time there playing with her. Like an hr before when you’d need to drop her off, if that’s not an option maybe stay and play at pick up time. I feel she just didnt have a chance to get used to her surroundings before all the big changed happened. When you do leave make it casual. Perhaps changing daycares and start the new one off where you both go and play before she is left alone.
Why is she crying in excess
So sad, try different daycare options. One where they distract her, make her feel comfortable. How sad the ppl u pay to care for ur child allows her to cry all day while they tend to other children. Hope u find a solution and pray it doesnt traumatize her for school.

Sounds like crappy teachers, when I worked in daycare I never had any kids cry more than a few minute after a parent left, I would be looking for a new daycare, something is not right there!
