Do you think you have bad breath or have people told you this?

Go to your doctor and ask for them to check you for tonsil stones (you can still get them after tonsilectomy). That was my son’s problem

I mean if nothing seems to be medically wrong and it’s truly bothering you, why don’t you just keep gum or mints on you at all times?

Go to the dentist to see if there may be a decay somewhere.

You may have halitosis (bad breath) which is within your stomach there’s not really a cure, but ways to treat.

This is a pic from google… but the slits look like this…if u stick bobby pin where its closed and dig inside if u start pulling stuff out thats what it is.

Usually bad breath comes from not flossing. Try buying a Waterpik. It can also come from your throat, like how when people get strep throat they have a certain smell. Or the tonsil stones can stink. I know people can have bad breath when doing keto. But I would suggest 100% flossing daily and Waterpik. Even add a little mouthwash to the reservoir.
Maybe get a tongue scraper too.

I know someone who had this… have your Esophagus checked for Gerd

Could be a sinus issue. Flush them daily with salted water. Netti Pot

It sounds like you might have tonsil stones.

Put coconut oil in your mouth before anything else when you wake up swish around for atleast 5 min spit in trash not sink
Or toilet. Your sinuses may drain after this also. Then brush your teeth regular. This will pull toxins out and make your gums and teeth healthy. Also swish peroxide in your mouth at night spit out then brush your teeth.

You could try oil pulling. Use swish coconut oil in your mouth for around 20minutes. They say it helps pull the germs and bacteria out of your mouth and gums and can help with bad breath. You can Google it and see if it sounds like something that could help.

You need some chlorophyll!! It’s natural and will make your breath smell pleasant. I learned this in my keto group a few years ago because people complain that when they first start keto they get bad breath but everyone kept recommending this saying it works wonders. So I tried it and it really does work!

I knew someone who had the same thing and it ended up being dry mouth. They had to use a over the counter mouth rinse. Their mouth would literally be dry (not producing enough salvia) causing a weird smell. I hope this helps!

Ask your doctor to check… it’s worth a shot.

Have you had your digestive system checked out? It could be allergies it could lactose intolerance etc etc. you say you’ve been to the dentist numerous times and they haven’t found anything wrong so I’m thinking you ask to see if something is going on in your digestive system cause that can definitely cause issues especially acid reflux

Tonsils and adenoids can grown back (especially for children) my son had his tonsils removed twice and adenoids removed three time. Pretty sure you have tonsil stone which you can still get even tho your tonsils have been removed

Gargling half hydrogen peroxide and half water helps with bad breath!

Honestly it could be infection inside your teeth & gums.

My family had pretty bad teeth, gums, & breath despite all the brushing, flossing, & dental/doctor visits.
Several of us have gotten all of our teeth pulled after having children resulting in severe calcium loss to bones & teeth, & the bad breath & undiagnosed mouth pain is finally gone.

Dentures are hell, but so is an unhealthy mouth. It was honestly the best move I ever made for myself. The procedure & recovery was hard, but no harder than the lifelong issues.

Tonsil stones. Dig them out yourself. Check monthly or when you start smelling odor. My daughter has them and has to remove them once a month. They can smell really bad.

Are u a coffee drinker?

Have you tried to gargle with water with salt a couple of times a day or lighty bite a clove with your teeth and spit it out your mouth just be careful not to swallow it. Also keep in mind stress can make your bad breath worse since it decreases your saliva flow, making your mouth dry and leading to bad breath. Relax sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. Meditation might help. Blessings your way!!

Do you take any medications? Some can cause horrible breath like anti histamines.

Something in your diet or gastrointestinal

Tongue scraper. I’m not kidding, if you use it every time you brush, it makes a world of difference. It has made a huge difference that I never got with brushing or mouth rinses. Can buy on Amazon or wherever.

Generally when people fast for long hours, this is an automatic smell that comes out. Try to eat smaller meals more frequently and see if things change. Hope for the best.

Do you have tonsil stones?

Do you have GERD (acid relflux)? It can cause bad breath as well. Also, oral thrush (basically a yeast infection in your mouth) can cause bad breath.

Even though you’ve had your tonsils removed you can still develop “stones” like in your pharynx and other areas of the throat which are deeper down than the tonsils. Have they checked down into your throat past where your tonsils were?

Swishing with peroxide every day! Bad breath could be a number of things but for me it’s gum disease.

I am so sorry people have been so cruel to you, that is absolutely horrible for you to go through. I’m sorry I wish I had an answer

You may need your tonsils out. Look up tonsil stones. It literally causes crazy breath. Honestly look into that, bring it upto your doctor, even if you have healthy tonsils they can still produce stones that smell horrendous.

Some are affected by drinking coffee & then chewing gum afterwards.

I was going to say gargle hydrogen peroxide

Chew 2 tums before you go to bed… sounds weird I know, but it works!

Gargle with peroxide for long periods of time, use mouth wash, chew gum, eat tums, and don’t eat any dairy products. You’ve literally done everything i would’ve recommended. This is all I have left. Make sure you’re brushing your tongue all the way back and the sides of the inside of your mouth.

Try this. My mom got it for my daughter at one point. So sorry you’re going through this.

Maybe you are allergic to something. I was going to say tonsil stones but you had your tonsils removed. Have you had a Food sensitivity testing. Someone else named up top another diagnosis.

You have brush your teeth and tongue after every meal and floss and keep you some mints or gum also don’t forget mouthwash the brown 1 is best

Hydrate and eat regular on top of flossing and brushing. Hydration might be the real issue.

Maybe keep breath mints available. Try peppermint and cinnamon flavors. Sorry you struggling with this. It sounds like you have tried everything. Next maybe you can find some friend girls, who can not smell and more online friends. I pray that you find a solution for your situation. Bet you are a great person to be friends with. Praying for you to have what you deserve.

Try charcoal toothbrush and toothpaste.

Try oil pulling, just gargle virgin coconut oil or olive oil (or sesame oil, i forgot) , two times a day for 20 minutes each, spit and brush.

Extra acid in the stomach causes bad breath and a funny taste, sometimes those are the only symptoms , I won’t get all technical this early but doesn’t need to be an ulcer etc but you might be creating a little more acid than is needed - surprised they haven’t suggested it but why don’t you try lansoprazole from the gp . It reduces the acid in the stomach , No real side effects and you’ll know in about two weeks once it has built up to the needed level .

Do you suffer constipation as it can cause bad breath

I had tonsil stones that would create a massy breath

It could either be caused by gastric issues or oral bacteria. Go to the dentist to see what they say. If they don’t know what it is, see a gastroenterologist.

These “Smart Mouth” products are amazing. You can get them at Walmart. But I got a sample from my dentist and LOVED it. If you use the toothpaste or even just the rinse before bed…you have NO morning breath! I promise. Try them.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. You are not alone. A friend of mine knew a man on the military who always smelled. It got to the point where people would watch him in the shower and make sure he was really cleaning himself and wearing deodorant but it never helped

Bad gut maybe? To much H. pylori bacteria, have you tried cutting out sugar?

Better toothpaste and use mouthwash to rinse. I also wouldn’t be shy of brushing through the day if needed.

Do you drink enough? Dry mouth can cause bad breath. Also do you hold farts in? Tgey can be reabsorbed and come out on your breath too x
