The 6 weeks cause I didn’t wanna risk an infection nor being in pain. You seriously can’t wait that long? You’re allowed to get each other off just no inserting of the fingers. IMO its disrespectful to your own body to not wait to ensure you’re properly healed to get some. Sex is not as important as your health, and you can have intimacy in many different forms without sex.

I waited 4 weeks. I had c section. It was extremely painful. Its like I lost my virginity again tbh. Im 5 month pp and now it’s my hips that hurt.
Well, I tore clean through my parts so like 4 months

I have 7 kids. Simple answer no set timeline but 2 wks to 6 wks. Just depending on how I felt.
Always waited because id rather not cause irritation or infection

I wasn’t ready, I waited 8
10 days. I didn’t have any tearing or complications though.
With my first I had to wait almost 10 weeks bc I had an episiotomy but with my son only 12 days

Wait for your doctor to clear you. The wound from your placenta is huge and the risk of infection is extremely high regardless of people who were “fine” and risked it not waiting…it’s not worth it.

8 weeks out of fear, then took it slow, and used lots of lube.
It took a longggg time for it not to be painful for me. Like a good 4-6 months. I don’t really know why. I’d wait the 6 weeks for medical reasons and then just try and see how you feel. Don’t do it if it’s uncomfortable tho for the sake of your man it’ll just make it worse.
I had a section and we waited about 10 days or so… no one told me to wait a certain amount of time…

1st was a c section
Waited two weeks cause I thought it would be fine but I was terribly wrong was like losing my virginity again
2nd was a VBAC and second degree tear had sex 4-5 weeks afterward not to painful but I feel because I didn’t wait long enough it’s made my healing longer as I still have small amounts of pain in the perineal area with downward pressure
6 weeks! Not risking the infection! Wait til your doctor approves.

For the love of god wait until your 6 week PP checkup. You have a gaping hole in your body right now, it’s not worth the risk of it getting infected.

Waited the day before 6 weeks with the first one and waited 5 weeks with the second
Around 2 months? Wasnt fun.
Not again til 4months pp, and much better.
I waited like 4 or 5 months… don’t push it. You need to allow yourself to heal so it doesn’t get infected.

Waited 2 months and still wish i would have waited longer. I still find it uncomfortable even now with my daughter being 5 months old. But that could also have to do with my issues with my mirena. Everyone is different though. Just take it slow and do what you feel comfortable
4 weeks…It was super uncomfortable for me
4 kids and 4 different drs all have said once I was done bleeding, use protection to help cut infection down and when I felt ready
Suggested time is 6-8 wks as ur cervix is still open. I bled for 3m after delivery.

Me & my ex waited until I stopped bleeding. Which took about 2 weeks. Definitely made him wear a condom though.

If you want an infection that coyld make you never have kids again go for it. If not wait the 6 weeks. My friend did it 2 weeks pp and lost her uterus due to an extreme infection. I waited til 6 weeks and my doctors ok

I waited till I stopped bleeding which was at 3weeks and my husband used a condom and we just went very slow. It was a little sore at First but after a few minutes it felt good again.

I was told to try before my 6 week check up, if I was ready, so that if anything didn’t feel right I could let my gyno know at the check up.
So glad I did coz my husband & I started doing the deed & it felt like something was coming out of me so he stopped & a plum size piece of placenta came out, that was 5 weeks postpartum

Um we stopped when I was like 5 mths pregnant and I didn’t again till he was like 8 or 9 weeks maybe longer
Waited 5 weeks and it hurt so much we didn’t have sex again until I was 2 months postpartum.
I was begging my husband almost immediately but he was worried of hurting me but I think we waited 2 weeks

I waited 4 weeks but I didn’t get any stitches, I was done bleeding and my recovery went really really well from the start. I didn’t even take the pain meds they gave me while I was staying in the hospital. Everyone’s different 
I was two weeks with first three weeks with second and a month with last… listen to your body. Everyone is different. (Get lube)
I waited 6. They cut me so i was super scared something might happen if we tried sooner…
Waited 8 weeks cause waited for all clear the birth control was in affect as weel

5 weeks, but I wish I waited longer. It hurt so bad and I got a uti. Listen to your doctor, wait.

As soon as my body felt comfortable and my bleeding had completely stopped. I think it was around 4 weeks. Be careful of infections though, always make sure you both are clean and safe. 
lmao I waited 1 week it’s really just ab if you’re comfortable or not. Depending on Rips/Stitches and all that. Make sure you get your check ups!!
If youre gonna do it…tell him he gonna need to check them stitches… If they pop… You gonna need to go to the doc
Didn’t have sex maybe except one-2 times in my last 6 months of pregnancy, then didn’t have sex till almost 3-4 months pp… it’s only been two times here since having baby. It’s hard to when I ebf and have several other children as well who go to school. They both go to superset schools so my life currently seems like a roller coaster.

Do you but I don’t understand risking an infection that could turn deadly all because of sex? Especially when you just wait a little longer you’ll be fine. There’s other ways that protect you if you need it that bad…I’m really sorry I’m not trying to be judgmental I just don’t get it…be safe please.

First one was exactly 6 weeks after, second one was maybe 4 weeks I think?? 
I didn’t have stitches or anything just waited till I felt some what normal I think.
Think it was probable around three months was c section and I was exhausted

Four weeks with my first. As long as you’re not bleeding and you feel up to it.
6 weeks to have vaginal sex, but I’m a very sexual human being so before the six weeks I used other parts of my body.

7 weeks pp the first time, 8 weeks pp the second time, 11 weeks pp the third time - all after being cleared by Drs at 6 weeks pp appointments.
I waited 3-4 months…hurt like hell and is still uncomfortable at 7 months
4 weeks, just waited until I was for sure done bleeding 
2.5/3 months and after that I didn’t even get horny… Like fuck you mean you in the mood? What mood? Coz all I feel is tired

Wait for the 6 weeks to be up - but if you don’t want to, that’s entirely up to you. Just make sure he wears a condom else you’ll find yourself more than likely up to duff again!

I tried at 5 weeks but it hurt. Any position hurt. It didn’t feel good until closer to 8 weeks. If it hurts don’t do it. Completely stop… make sure you use lube, make sure hands/fingers, toys and penis are clean lol
Stopped bleeding and gave myself the all good.
6 weeks! They say this so you don’t have a chance of infection. Also because you can easily get pregnant again and you need to let your body heal

5 weeks after c section
My friend only waited about 2 weeks, however, I on the other hand had complications with the stitches and had it fixed at 5 months post then intimate at about just gone 6 months.
Had sex up until 2 days before he was born then at 4 weeks PP did it again. Let your body decide. Don’t rush it if you don’t feel up to it. I felt healed after 2 weeks. Slow and gentle the first time.

5 months, but everyone is different. I dont think theres a “right” timeline
