We do $1 for a tooth. The only time a child got $20 was when they had oral surgery and 6 teeth were pulled due to overcrowding.
I went a little crazy with my first son gave him 20 and a gift lol now I give 5 bucks some times the tooth fairy is late my 11 year old said he didn’t believe and still put his tooth under the pillow and got up and said the tooth fairy didn’t come I said well if you don’t belive how are they to come
Depends on what tooth it is an if it’s more than one. Two front teeth are an easy $20 each bc they’re the special ones that give us lots of laughter when the kid loses them bc of how they speak an say certain words an then how they look when they smile it’s just full of funny cuteness that lasts for sometime. Molars are $5-10 each. Then the rest are like a dollar or two. I never give out change bc they lose that far to easily and also a dollar at least allows them to get something on their own to help feel independent.
I always just give $1. This may be unpopular, and quite frankly, I don’t care. If my kid’s rooms are a complete mess, they get nothing. I tell them that the tooth fairy has a lot of homes to go to, and can’t risk getting injured while trying to safely navigate their room. They get 3 chances to clean it up. If they choose not to, than they get nothing. Everyone’s budget is different. I know some people who have given $10 to $20, I know other’s who have given gifts like a new bike. When I was growing up, I’d get a dollar from the tooth fairy when I was home, but if I was at my Dad’s, the tooth fairy left me a $2 bill. I never questioned why it was different.
1 crisp dollar bill. I’m gonna go get a bunch of silver dollars. The first lost tooth they don’t get money just a new toothbrush and stuff
$1… I also did $2 bill for the front teeth
We do $20 for the first. And try to leave a $2 bill for every one thereafter. Depending on what’s in the wallet if its a late night fall out though they have gotten $5 or $10 sometimes.
She got $20 for her first, then $50 for her second, then $10 for the rest. Sometimes the tooth fairy also bring lotto scratchers bc the kid loves lotto scratchers
It was so much for the second bc she was sick and literally projectile vomited so hard it knocked it out and I just couldn’t bring my self to dig it out of the vomit bucket and she was sooooooooooooo upset, so of course we vastly over compensated
Always done $1 a tooth
£10 first tooth £5 second tooth £2 every tooth after x
1.00 gold coin and pixie dust from dollar store
When I was a kid the most I got was 1 dollar.
There is no tooth fairy
We do $20 a tooth but his money goes into a savings account
Hey it’s Inflation time
$20
Sounds about right
Lmao
You can leave your child what ever you want
We did $5 for the 1st tooth then $2 for every other tooth.
I leave 5$ or under it depends if I have it and what tooth they lost
Sometimes it rains and they can’t come if your pour
We don’t do the tooth fairy thing, but we do give them $1 for each one they lose. We just flat out hand it to them when they’re awake though lol.
I think we got $.50 and $1.00 if it was a molar
10$ for first tooth then 5$ for the rest
5 for the first and usually 3 per tooth after that
Omg mam I remember get $1 a tooth unless it was a molar than it was $5. Gonna have to get a second job for that fairy when my girls time come ugh
5.00 her first tooth so far.
I just do their age.
I do their age but the First tooth was a $2 bill and 3 gold $1 coins and after was just cash wether it was 1’s or 5’s my 5 year old has lost 5 teeth so far my oldest is 7 and is sitting at 5 lost as well.
I’m the guilty one here when my girls lost their first tooth they got a 100 then every tooth after has been 20 they are 11 months apart I keep 50 a paycheck back and let it stack up it’d for them if they lose a tooth I pull from that fund if they got straight A in school I pulled from that fund so im always extra now they save their money like crazy now they get 20 a tooth
We do $5 for the big ones and usually $1 or $2 for the smaller ones
$5 first tooth. $1 for each after.
As a momma , do what you think is okay . I plan to leave 10 or so for my baby when her tooth falls but to also explain that the tooth fairy only leaves as much as she can carry that day . Just in case I can’t do bigger bills she won’t be as disappointed
I leave 2$ per tooth. There has been times when the dentist had to remove more than one at a time so they got I believe 4$ that time but generally 2$
Yeah, we went $20 for the first tooth. Now it’s whatever I can scrape up. One time the tooth fairy had a real busy night and had to come the next night because…I totally forgot. This isn’t one we try real hard to keep up with in our house.
We don’t do tooth fairy stuff, but my kids get $5 a tooth,
For my son’s first tooth we gave a $2 bill because it was special for anyone following that a $1 bill.
That’s a crazy amount of money for a tooth fairy to leave.
I leave my granddaughters $5 when they lose a tooth
Just $5/10. $20 are for those silver teethed. Hahahahaha jk.
dang my momma not getting a easter basket:/ she only gave me a dollar. who is this kids mom? ill go pull some teeth out for $20:joy:
Sometimes I leave a small gift instead of money
sometimes $20 sometimes $10 sometimes just $5 it’s whatever the tooth fairy has in cash.
Me with a 2.5 year old daughter and pregnant with my second daughter and having completely forgotten the tooth fairy was a thing till I saw this
Depends on what I can scrape up. At least 2$ no matter what. Max no more than 10$.
2 for first 1 for rest
It’s different for each family. We give what ever we can at the time. Some times it’s 5, 10, 1 or even special coin
We got $5 when we lost our first teeth growing up. Tooth fairy was drunk one night and slipped a $50 instead of a $5 under my pillow. Dad said once you turn 8 that the tooth fairy pays in full for all future lost teeth and not to expect anymore money after that…
I do the dollar amount for whatever number of tooth they’re on. So my daughters next tooth, she’ll get $9 since it’s the 9th tooth she’s lost.
I left $5 for the first one and it will be .50 to a $1 for every one after
Mine get a $1 gold coin.
I won’t be doing the tooth fairy
A gold dollar is what was left for each tooth
$10 for first tooth and $2 rest
$5 first tooth, $2-$3 after that.
$5 for the first and $1 there after
$2 one dollar bills decorated with colored glitter glue, a handwritten thank you card and some good chocolate.
The tooth fairy only left a $20 when we had to bribe our kid to let us pull a second tooth at the same time - both her front teeth were ultra wiggly and turning gray and gross. It was desperation calling! LOL
$5 but that was 30 years ago
My ex did that and totally took the fun out of it to be honest xx
$1.00-1.50. My daughter was thrilled to get shiny quarters and notes from the tooth fairy. Helps that she was learning about money in her grade one math class.
First tooth $10 any tooth after $5
My mama gave me two dollar bills and Susan B. Anthony coins
I get paid over $ 130 per hour w0rking from home. I never thought l’d be able to do it but my colleague makes over $ 19691 a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The possibility with this is limitless.

$20 because our tooth fairy never seems to have cash on her last minute or is so busy with her tooth fairy life that she forgets. So she often leaves $20-40 to make up for her short comings.
We did $20 for the first tooth and $5 after that because the first tooth is special
£1 when he was 4/5 yrs
£2 at 7,8,9yrs
And £5 at 10,11yrs
My child has autism and acts little younger than his age. But since Al his teeth has been lost he starts high schoolcso tooth dairy doesn’t come now she has all his teeth, he now does chores for pocket money
Our tooth fairy always left a single $2 bill , 5 tooth related stickers or temporary tattoos, a brand new character toothbrush and travel size tooth paste. In a shiny treat bag pouch. I would also sprinkle a little confetti by the bed for when they wake up. Never glitter -
Way back in the old days, we got a dime for a lost tooth!
$10 for the first tooth and $5 for the others
$10 for the first, $5 for each one after that and $1 if it had to be pulled tooth fairy ain’t going broke cause ya didn’t brush good! Lol
We used to give u $5
If I don’t have some money sometimes the tooth fairy will leave a note saying the tooth was not good in quality so she need to do a:smirk: better job brushing and maybe next time she will pass inspection and get a reward
5 for the first and 1 for the littles and 2 for molars lol
$0.25-$0.50 depending on the tooth
This is why kids getting entitled nowadays Jesus 20 dollars for a tooth is too much lol if I lose a tooth somebody wanna donate eh jk
I did 5 for first tooth and then a dollar or 2 for any after
Stupid amount, £1 coin is sufficient
$20’s
Don’t be cheap!
Tooth fairy usually leave $2, this last time she left $2.25 (was 3am and she miscounted the quarters😅) $20 seems like a lot for a tooth to each thier own.
$0 my son never put his teeth under his pillow for the tooth fairy
1 gold dollar per tooth
First tooth is always the most $10. Tooth fairy is broke rest of the teeth are $5
We do $1-$2 and a pack of my sons favorite gum.
Oh the tooth fairy leave a dollar, with a note, a cute font in pink or purple I use glitter glue to make little tiny fairy footprints and then sprinkle glitter on the card and a small amount on the dogs head so she’ll think the tooth fairy had to put him to sleep with fairy dust it’s about the memory not the amount.
None. We don’t believe in that. Lol. My oldest is 5 and hasn’t lost a tooth yet either
The tooth fairy used to leave my son $1 Sacagawea coins
I only had a 10 dollar bill .the next day my granddaughter was counting her teeth by 10’s she looked at me and told me her mouth was gonna make her rich!
I got quarters and 50 cent pieces. But ya know with inflation my kids got 1-5$ but no more
I used I always do $2 or $3 but ever since she stayed at my moms and lost a tooth and my mom gave her $5, she’s always expected $5 since… So she gets $5 now. Lol.
I gave my children $20 their very first tooth they lost
the most I will ever give is $5…
First tooth and last tooth is worth $5.00 but every tooth inbetween is $2-$3 each
We do $20 for the 1st and last teeth, $5 for all the others.
The first time we left $20 after that it depended upon the well they took care of their teeth ( ex. If they were brushing them correctly and such) we would pay up to $10 per tooth as well as they fell out and not had to be pulled out from the dentist
My daughter got a $20 for her very first tooth and $20 when she got 4 teeth pulled but otherwise she gets $5
We don’t believe in that, however, there’s nothing really that a kid could buy for a couple dollars these days. I dont think $20 is that bad
$1 for small teeth, $5 for molars. That’s how I got done. Inflation…. Inflation doesn’t have to happen with the tooth fairy!
and here i thought a fiver was good!!
$5 for the 1st one, $1 for the rest
$2 a tooth, and also due to the last name and where it sat on the list, our tooth fairy only visited on Saturday nights, lol.
Depends on how much money we have. I never know. But then again, both my kids lost like 5 in a day or two. They get whatever I have at the time. Ugh! Luckily they don’t lose them while the sibling loses them. I’d be broke then.
I always left $20 for the bigger teeth like molars etc. that especially hurt etc so they got more for them.
