What about the father of the child get him to help you out at home
I was cleaning my tub and my son flipped to the right position
Acupuncture, chiropractic, moxabustion. Absolutely check out spinningbabies.com.
Try all you can before ECV. If there is still sufficient fluid and your baby is not engaged in the pelvis, non-invasive measures have a high rate of success! Good luck!!
I think this is not the best way to get your information, let you Dr or midwife know your concern. They are professionals
Look into a chiropractor. I know a woman who went to the chiropractor to help flip the baby.
Omg I can’t believe a dr would suggest you do this yourself . Why can’t the dr do it
Try a mid wife for help. If he doesn’t flip C section the best for a safe delivery
Mine turned by himself - I was sitting at the dining table
you’ll manage breatfeeding is best and gives you more restful recovery
I had 2 csections you just have to take it easy for couple weeks pray baby turns
Sometimes a chiropractor can help.
My Dr. told me to get down and crawl. It worked!
Chiropractor, swimming, massage therapist…
Your baby still has time to turn.
Section is by far the best for you and your child
I had a c section and and the baby and I did fine I would do it again
I had a breech and c-section though I went into labor at 38 wks and right before an appointment to schedule it. I stayed in the hospital for 2 days (plan child care) I went on as normal since I didnt have choice. Do what you absolutely have to do and let everything else be a wreck until you finish recovering.
Have search on the website spinning babies in way to try move baby around
I gave birth to a breech baby vaginally
Sometimes Baby turns in the last…
Go for the C-section. Plan it and you won’t regret it. I had 2.
I was breach so my. Mum stood on her head I.turned
Baby can still turn. Plenty of time.
Now im definitely no expert… however baby still may turn on it’s own. Am I wrong? I believe I’ve heard of babies turning the last week.
Try crawling on all four on the floor.
Put your hands and knees on the ground then lift up your butt and waddle back and forth. That’s what my doctor told me to do when I was 39 weeks pregnant and it worked…
I had c section. It was fine. I was up that night for 5 min. Next day walked and took shower. I was fine at home I just couldnt make stairs for 2 weeks. Stocked house before delivery. Made meals and put in freezer.
My dil went in my pool, it worked! Water displaces the weight and without gravity dragging it down here had room to flip
My last baby wasn’t breech, but the Dr did turn him, it hurt, it was 33 yrs ago
Have a c section. Dont risk tangling up umbilical cord. Ask for help if need. Pregnancy aid places have doulas. Get some frozen lasagne or whatever for a weeks worth of meals and some towels and socks so the laundry can wait a week. Relax and let things go a little when you go home. You can get it caught up later. Ask your doc if they have suggestions or the hospital social worker. Dont rush recovery. Keep baby safe.
My middle son was breech. That was the easiest birth .A few pains and then a baby.but consider this was 1980.
Had a c section with a child at home. Managed because I had no other choice.
No flipping is dangerous and could kill the baby. The dr did this to my mum in the 50’s and I flipped right back. Have a Caesarian to protect your baby. My daughter was breach and I was scheduled for a caesarean and at the last minute the stupid gynae decided I could give birth naturally. My daughter was born hand first with the cord wrapped round her hand and neck 3 times. He told me afterwards that he expected a Still Birth and I said I would kill him if my baby died
Why are you asking FB?
There’s still time for baby to change position.
I had my first one breach. Difficult.
I’m a student midwife and this is the most highly recommended website for exercises to help turn a breech baby. Flip A Breech - How to Turn a Breech Baby - Spinning Babies
Maybe see a chiropractor
Gail Mittleman Janicola

I would ask your OB.
Flipping didn’t work for me…just get the C
Why are there such dumb questions on here.I’m just asking.
Had 2 C sections…
The second one was twins, next day showered/shaved my legs & walking around. Hospitalized 5 days.
My sister and I were both born breach and dry back in 1957 and 1959. …
One of mine was breech and she finally flipped on her own in the middle of the night and it was so freaking painful. All I could think of was that scene from Aliens where the Alien pops out of that dudes torso lmao. I thought my belly was gonna rip open.
Sending prayers… asking the Lord for a safe delivery for you and your baby… and full healing and recovery for you.
Crawl around on all 4s
I worked for a chiropractor that did adjustments to turn babies
I had a breached birth and it was to late to turn her and she just spit out no problem
Just went through this. Was scheduled a 37 week csection on a Wednesday had to reschedule due to the doctors, went to high risk ultrasound the next day and baby flipped. Had induced vaginal delivery following Wednesday at 38 weeks… this is my 5th child and none of the others waited till last min to flip… my doc told me an evc is painful and can cause multiple problems during like stress to baby rupturing of placenta and high risk for emergency csection especially if your heavier.
I had an emergency csection it was rough took me about a week to be able to fully function w/o anyone’s help
I had an ecv done at 38 weeks which was successful. It was more of a pressure but not painful. I tried multiple things to flip baby at home but didn’t have any luck.
I’m confused how your not gonna have anyone to help you after birth when you didn’t get pregnant by yourself
I wouldn’t say baby is breech… you have 4 weeks left. Mine didn’t flip till 38. Nothing to worry about till 39 I was told.
I had a heartshaped uterus and he couldnt turn even with them trying to turn them
My 3rd was breeched at 36 weeks and I was told he was more then likely to big to flip but we would discuss options at 37 weeks, went to my 37 week appointment and he had flipped head down
You really do not want the Dr to flip the baby. My friend and I were pregnant at the same time. She had hers first and the baby had to be turned 3 times to get her straight. So my friend had a ton of bleeding afterwards, like for almost 8 weeks and massive scarring on the inside as well. So when I came time for my little guy to come, my Dr discovered that mine was breech. He said he could turn him when I go into labor… No thanks. I already went thru a c-section with my older one. So we scheduled it. No labor. Easy peasy. Minimal bleeding and up in a few hours when I could feel my legs. Even discharged a day early to go home. You will do great.
Breech is a variation of normal!! You don’t HAVE to have a c section. You could always find a provider willing to try to deliver a breech baby vaginally. Good luck!
To flip: prop your ironing board on the sofa or chair, lay on it head down feet in air 15 minutes at a time. Do as often as comfortable. At least once a day. This is what I was told to do. I am not a dr.
EVC was the WORST and didn’t work. C section to me was so much easier
I had an ECV done at 35 weeks, didn’t work. My daughter was stubborn.
It was also the most uncomfortable thing to go through that far along.
Ended up needing a c section
My daughter was breech and she was my first so I didn’t get to experience it naturally. She came at 35 weeks and 5 days healthy as horse, thank the lord. But as long as you take it easy, know your limits and dont be hard on yourself if you can’t clean or do things like you normally would for a while. Also, if you have a dog that likes to jump up alot, I’d recommend maybe seeing if a friend could watch until you heal more. My moms dogs bout busted my stitches open greeting me one day, the pain was overwhelming.
My chiropractor told me they are trained to flip babys. I go to Joint chiropractic, they are in various states across the us. I believe they just do gentle pushing on your belly.
My second was breech until 37.5 weeks and I had him at 38 weeks. When I say breech they called him “baby Buddha” at my doctors office because he was cross cross, facing my back with his hands out to his sides and he seriously never moved from that position. I had to see specialists to get ultrasounds of him, he almost never cooperated, and he finally flipped after so long and I honestly think it was because I was contracting so much towards the end that it probably inconvenienced him enough to move lol
I have had 2 c sections my advise if you end up having one hold a pillow when you go to the bathroom, cough ,sneeze or laugh and sleeping try to sleep in a recliner
I had this same issue with my oldest! He was butt down and sideways. He was in that position my entire pregnancy. He literally only moved his arms, legs, and head but stayed butt down and sideways. I went to a chiropractor who gave me at home positions to move him, they tried to move him manually, and then finally a c-section at 38 weeks. He was early for different reasons but they did the section because of his position. It was not bad! I always advise getting up and walking as soon as possible and always take the meds as directed! Don’t skip doses or try to stretch them out! I had no bleeding after my first and minimal bleeding after my second son. They were extremely different in size though, 6lbs 4oz/9lbs 3oz! You can always try for a vaginal delivery the second time if you want to.
I am almost 27 weeks with the same issues ! I have a 13 and 11 year old who stayed turned head down and I delivered and this baby is Breech ! I know I have 9 weeks for her to turn but for the last 2 weeks she has not and I also am not sure about having a csection
Eh they usually flip when they’re ready, my second didn’t until I was 39 weeks. Research if the position would be life threatening to him, a lot of doctors jump at giving c-sections for no good reason
My daughter was breech at 38 weeks i seat on my knees and bounced on a ball
My doctor told me to get on my hands and knees and rock back and forth for a couple minutes a couple times a day and she flipped!
Dont recommend trying to turn the baby. I now have a 9 cm gap down my abdominal muscles due to this and the baby was still breech and i had a csection anyway! 8 years later i still have a huge pooch that will never go away!
I flipped all 3 of mine at home. Www.spinningbabies.com
They give you lots of things to try. My youngest didn’t flip til 37 weeks.
My daughter came breech ( both feet first ) it was tough but we were both fine. She was beautiful but it took a little while for my recovery.
I had my last baby in 2018. Planned c section. I had no help either. She was fine (premature as we expected). I drove myself home at discharge and drove back and forth to the NICU twice a day to nurse and spend time with her. While taking care of my 2 older children at home. I had to be careful not to pull my stitches while getting in and out of my Honda Pilot. And had to hold a blanket or small pillow if I needed to cough. I recovered quickly and brought baby home after 11 days once she reached 4 pounds. Hopefully you’re blessing will turn, but if not, a C-section isn’t so horrible.
I had two sections. It is major surgery. Recovery time is about a week, I was a breech, my Mother always said if I would have been her first, I’d have been her last! Best of luck❤️
Why did specialist suggest patient research this. Usually they turn babe later in preg within hospital with ultrasound and emergency equipment if needed on stand by
My first was breech but my doctor just reached in and flipped him during labor! Labor went very smoothly and baby was perfectly healthy
My baby was sitting cross way the doctors try everything to get this little boy to head down but no success so they send me home and I went to an appointment and he turn by himself so the doctor said am not going back home and she induced me and yes that little red boy stick out his tongue at every one lol
My mom had 9 babies all vaginal births. Number 8 was a half hour start to finish. Number 9 was 36 hrs. Baby was born ass first. God love her(mom),what a champ. My sister is completely awesome.
My baby was two mints early. And breach. Dr made mr get a saddle block back then. So he could guide him out safely. At first I thought my baby had no head. Lol he’s 44 now.
Had baby #3 flip to breech position at 40 weeks. Induction set for 41weeks and had her flipped externally at that time. It went fine. She did present face up though which is not fun but I did avoid a c section
I had to do this… an it worked …lay flat on the floor and put your feet up on the couch. Do this for 15 minutes 3 time’s a day or as many times a day you can .good luck hon !!!
My son was head first .
Doctor said that’s a problem and the doctor turned him while I was in labor.
If your effort to turn your child does not work try not to worry. A good doctor will have the answer.
Lord, We come to you in these times to grasp the hem of your garment, to seek healing in this ailing world. We come to ask the love of the Father to take away our fear. We ask you Lord Jesus for the saving love of the Cross to save our sinful world. We ask for the Joy of the holy spirit to quench our fear. Heal the world Lord we cry out to you. We consecrate ourselves to you. Amen.
I was carrying twins one was breech the 2 Nd born and he presented bum first and I had him vaginally no problem .but this was 48 years ago .
I had ECV-didn’t work! Dr tried three times and he kept flipping back-had a C section…
Do what ever you’re dr thinks is best. The rest is in God’s hands.
The doctor said what?? If your doctor does not have this info don’t let it deliver your baby. That is crazy.
You will be fine with a c-section. Women have been through this before you and will be after you. Didn’t you say you say you have a 14 yr old. Put her to work so and she won’t be out there popping out babies. Not so fun. I am sure she helps already at home.
I was 35 when had my first baby… It was fine.
I was born breech and am fine.
My oldest was a breech baby and had to be turned. Hurt like heck when the Sr turned him, but my son turned no problems and I didnt go into labor. Wks later I was induced and he went into distress so I had and emergency c section. My cousin was so stubborn even with her labor being dangerously long she was not about to have a c-section no matter water. She was an idiot and the baby had a bowel movement while still inside her and it caused him issues and the next day the baby had a seizure and ended up rushed to a large hospital with a nicu. I wished now with my oldest I would of just went ahead and had the section instead and absolutely having to due to a distressed baby. I did go on and have my next two babies that way. But even when you plan for certain things sometimes things happen and plans change, so even if baby does flip naturally which my last baby did, sometimes things happen that make us change our plans, like a baby going into distress and your being rushed back for an emergency csection. I did learn though packing very loose close is important to wear home, shoes you can slide on. Taking pain meds when it comes time and not waiting, also use arm and leg muscles as much as you can when getting up or moving around, my first child no one told me what a csection would be like, i was going to have it done anyways instead of having my son but Dr talked me against it, well the baby had other plans.
My son was transverse breech, I only got to 50% effacement, and never dilated… the cord was around his neck twice, he had very little amniotic fluid, and I had pre-eclampsia… ended up having an emergency c-section 2 weeks early… I remember being terrified to have the needle for the spinal block put in, but honestly I barely felt it, never had a single labor pain. I remember it hurting to laugh and cough for a bit after, but make sure you use the incentive spirometer as directed. I learned the hard way the importance of it. I never needed pain meds after leaving the hospital because of the c-section… it is a slower recovery, hard to get up off of the floor but I survived it with minimal assistance. good luck momma, you will be great no matter the type of birth.
My first child was breeched, buttfirst, facing backwards with her legs straight out. Needless to say, I had a c-section, came home and though I had plenty of help around, I didn’t really take it if I’m being honest. I’ve never been the one to pass off a child on someone else, I raised my siblings and I hated how my mother passed her kids off on me. So I tend to do things myself. I healed just fine, didn’t lift anything heavier then my baby, the most I carried heavier was her in her carseat. For the first 2 days, it was hard to stand all the way up and hurt to walk, and I didn’t push myself but I also didn’t let myself just lay in bed. Thats bad for you after a c-section, because you don’t want to risk blot clots in your legs or body when you’re healing. Walk as much as possible, and stand all the way up as you feel comfortable even if its just a little bit. Don’t be scared to do things. If you feel lightheaded, sit down and drink some water, if its too frequently, call your doctor. Sleep as you can, or you’ll get sleep deprived. Nap while the baby naps. Wash bottles as they go, especially if your baby naps after a feeding. Prepare the bottles with water so all you have to do is pour in the formula (unless you’re breastfeeding.) Do whatever you can to make it easy on you, like keeping her beside your bed so you can roll on your side and grab her out of the bassinet. Keep diapers and wipes by the bed. When you get out of bed, roll on your side and push up with your arms, or just roll until you can pull yourself up.
