Until you have proof of harm (physical or emotional) you should mind your own business. That child is obviously not neglected or hungry. And to be honest, that baby seems a lot better off than many. The last thing you would want is for CPS to get involved and remove the child and place them in a more dangerous situation with a worse family under CPS care. What you should do is talk to her yourself and express your concerns. I’m sorry, but you don’t have kids so you will never be able to understand.
So far I haven’t read anything that quiet screams abuse!! Maybe inexperienced parents for sure!! However if you have a bad feeling have the local police department or child services do a well check visit!! I am going to say this too, before you go calling anyone make damn sure your motive to call is 100% genuine concern for this child and not your issue with the mom causing y’all to fall out!! Child services is not always the fairy tail ending for children, so please make sure this isn’t coming from wanting to stir shit up and really about this baby being abused or neglected not the snacks or your opinion but true neglect or abuse
REPORT IT. CPS has to investigate it no matter what. If you want to IM me, I’ll help you out in any way I can
DONT LET ANYONE TELL YOU TO MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!! I have rescued animal’s my entire life and I’m in and out of court with their abusers. I’ve had many people tell me to mind my own business but I tell EVERYONE…if we dont make it our business then no laws will ever change!
If you can get pictures, times and LP#'s…they help tremendously! Document everything…tell them exactly what you wrote in this group! And dont EVER give up…you are that babies voice
Best of luck ~
I knew how this would go when you said y’all had a falling out. Nothing in your post constitutes abuse. Bad habits, yes, but not abuse.
I’m trying to figure out where everyone is getting the whole “without a car seat”?? As far as what the child eats…I wish someone would come to me about what I may or may not feed my children…as a parent that is my choice…as it is there’s. To put it bluntly…I’ve never limited a single thing my children ate…and now they are capable of limiting their snack intake on their own. My youngest is almost 18 months old…he like my other 3 have been eating real meals at the table with us…the parents…since before they were one. I mean…obviously if pictures are being taken they are watching the child. my kids had pillows, blankets and stuffed animals in their beds as well. My daughter is 4 and loves her some mommy and me makeup sessions. a lot of men are scared to hold a newborn as first time dads. My kids love 4 wheelers, horses, dirt bikes etc…sorry…we don’t put car seats on them when they ride lol. They sit in front of us or OMG by themselves on a horse:woman_facepalming: I’ve got 4 kids and own a mid class sedan…one sits up front all the time, it’s not against the law to have a child up front as long as they are properly restrained and as far away from the air bag as possible. It is recommended they be in the back seat but not required. As far as weight…if they were that overweight they would not fit in a single cab truck with bench seats and a whole car seat between them. Like a few others have said…you sound as though you are just looking for a reason to harass them because they aren’t doing what you expect…if that’s the case…please go have your own child and leave them be. If the child is healthy…goes to well checks when scheduled…and happy that is all that matters.
I thought this group was for moms…
Call child protective services. Are these parents mentally challenged ? An evaluation is in the childs best interest.
You are being overly critical. Junk food, and make up? Seriously?
Sounds like ur salty about the falling out and snooping trying to find something to complain about u sound judgemental as hell who cares if the parents r big stay in ur lane
