My doctors kept telling me I was measuring ahead, but kept insisting he wouldn’t be too big for vaginal. I kept telling them I felt he was gonna be huge and they dismissed me saying they don’t induce for size, so that didn’t work for me. They were very shocked when I delivered him vaginally… at 10lb 6oz. I was a painful mess afterward, but it is still possible!
I was told I was having a 10 pounder. She came out 7. I’d get an epidural. Mine never worked and when it became emergencies and resuscitations galore for us both I was knocked out. Because there was no time for an epidural.
No the ultrasound is not accurate for weight, in my opinion. They told me I was having a 7 pound baby, he only came out 5 pounds.
It’s ok-9lbs 4 oz was my first and 9 lbs 10 oz was the second. They were fine and so was I.
