Don’t trust either one. From experience I had gut feeling My Ex of 10 yrs and my best friend of 11 yrs were messing around. I would ask if they are seeing each other because you found necklace probably will play it off. I would investigate more to get proof . I had that gut feeling always trust that feeling. At that time in my life when I found out 
my whole world came crashing down but I got back up brushed off pack my stuff left never never looking back. Never speaking to neither of them again it’s been 15 yrs now

Be honest and ask him 1st as to where that necklace went and where it came from; ask him why weren’t you told about it…honesty should be priority in all relationships.
Keep an eye on them. Don’t say anything but keep an eye on them. I would put a mini camera where he can’t see it and see if you catch anything.
If they are cheating, dump them both!
