Wow!
Good job mom!
The bruises will go away In a few weeks!
Well first of all, let me say congratulations for the birth of your son! Having him in the car mustāve been so scary! But you did it like a champ! Us women are unbelievably strong and resilient!! Your son came out beautiful and healthy, so try to focus on that. I can see how it would concern you seeing bruises on him, but he came out very unexpectedly, in a very unexpected place! The bruises will heal and youāll have an amazing story about his birth to tell! Donāt worry mama. Not your fault. Just enjoy him and be grateful heās healthy and perfect.
My daughter smacked her face on the bed when she was born and bruised her entire face and had bloodshot eyes due to the cord being tied in a knot and not breathing for 45 minutes. The bruising went away after a couple days. Youāre little one will be ok momma!
Many babies come out bruised especially if itās a quick delivery. Itās completely normal and they heal within a few days.
My 9lb 3 oz boy dropped quick and came out with his face bruised. It was super sad for me but he didnt seem to be in any pain and it went away within a week.
3 out of 4 of my babies were bruised from having fast deliveries, it will go away in a week or two. From what I know, itās fairly common. Congratulations!
2 out of 3 of my girls came very quick like 2-3 pushes and they both bruised on their cheekbones. It took about 2 weeks for them to clear up. I believe it is fairly common fro. What Iāve shared with other mothers.
Not personally, but I remember my cousin being covered in bruises from forcepsā¦ poor guy looked terrible. The bruises lasted a while.
Also, youāre a badass.
My nephew was a few weeks and is perfect now he is 12
My sons face was bruised but it was gone the next day but the 1st day it was HORRIBLE and they told me itād be gone in a week but it was gone the next day
Aww bless you mama.
The whole Labour was out of your control. You will forgive your self in time and rightly so. From one mama to another you did absolutely nothing wrong. Xx
I spent 12 hours in the hospital after a day of labor. My son came out with a flat spot on the top front of his head and it was severely black and blue from his eyebrows past the soft spot on his head. Took a couple of days to lighten up and a few weeks to disappear.said it was cause he was laying sideways and had his head against my pelvic bone. Think sometimes they leave us in labor without knowing whatās happening and tell us to wait to come in. I had 7 and complications with them all, but wouldnāt change a thing.they were all between 9#14oz and 10 and 1/2# so thatās prolly why hard deliveries. Iām sure heās fine, the one that had his head so bruised Iād now a microbiologist/ scientist. Beating him up a little didnāt hurt him I guess!! You got him into this world alive with you and your husband and some help from God!!
My middle some came out with little spots all over his head. They said itās normal when they get birthed really quickly (my labor was about 4 hours long) and itāll go away in a few days. Itās not your fault momma. He just wasnāt waiting for nobody
Oh yeah my last son his poor face was covered it goes away nothing yo worry about
My son was bruised and squished up but it all went away. Itās ok mama
Bruised babies typically end up with jaundice. My littlest they used a vacuum on, n she ended up with swelling n bruising that made her numbers spike. They quickly went down and all was good. Baby will be fine. Give it a few days n they should disappear
Heāll be ok. I bet that was so scary though!
If the doctor says he should be fine then he should be fine, babies bodies are prepared for that.
Dang girl! You rock! Congratulations. Youāre one tough mama.
You had absolutely no control over that baby being born when it was born donāt beat yourself up mama congratulations on the new baby
My daughter came out with a busted blood vessel in her eye from her coming so fast and I was freaking out lol but she was fine it went away like month lafer
Donāt feel bad. A lot of babies come out bruised. Itāll disappear soon. Congratulations
Yeah my son came out and his face etc was purple. Midwife said he bruised coz he came out so quick but wasnāt worried . Went away rather quickly.
Bless you. That sounds scary ans amazing.
My baby came out fast and face up. He was bruised all over his face for about 5 days. He had slight jaundice but corrected itself in 48 hours.
Oh and btw, WAY TO GO MAMA!!! Way to handle that like a warrior!!! Just snuggle and love up on that sweet baby. He will be just fine.
Well thatās a story for the 21st well done mama, Ive done natural and quick my youngest was 33 minutes but I was lucky enough to be at the hospital (induced early as it got to the point I couldnāt keep anything down). I remember my little brother had a bruise on his forehead it didnāt last very long, but my middle one was very bruised she was back to back but decided to turn as I was pushing and her whole scalp was bruised, I was told it nothing to worry about and that most babies are born with them.
My baby girlās face was bruised from her big head being pushed against my pelvic bone. Bruising didnāt last long, she was perfectly fine. Congratulations!
Its not ur fault ur baby will be ok my 4 th was bruised when he came out he hit my pelvic hard when he dropped it only took about a week for his bruises to go away. Good luck
I think it will heal up fast, they had to rush me to surgery for c section because my contractions where squeezing his head and making his blood presure drop and mine go sky high, so they was hurrying and the dr cut my sons forhead! I freaked out but it healed in just a week and you cant even see it now and he is 2
My first was forceps delivery. His poor face was bruised. It was better within a week though. Congratulations
My eldest was 2wks overdue and had a huge swollen n bruised face especially her eyes, From trying to squeeze her 9.9lb butt out of my pelvis when I was induced so she shot out super quick! They didnāt say anything either n I also had her painkiller free n natural birth, 4hr labor she came out qick for her size, They were worried Iād need a c section cause of her size but she came naturally. Dont worry mumma these things happen, itās not your fault and if bub was feeling any of it they would let you know! Itās more common than you think!
My youngest came out no bruises no swelling but she was also only 7lb so less pressure on her face than my first Iām guessing
U go girl! Take photos and someday show him what a tough warrior he and his mama both were
Poor little thing but you should be so proud. You did amazing!
Itās not your fault at all! You canāt control when a baby comes whatsoever.
He will be fine and you didnāt do anything wrong, itās not like you had much of a choice on how things went. The bruises will fade and if he has jaundice then that is adding to the color making it look worse than it is
Totally normal. My second came out bruised. Congratulations on the new baby!
Way to go mama!!! And itās no big deal on the bruising. You didnāt do that so donāt trip. One of mine got in such a hurry she actually breathed in the amniotic fluid & got her lungs a little wet. HOWEVER, sheās been.late getting everywhere since LOL
Born today bruised my other son was too
The best way to give birth is sitting into the squatting position. Heās probably bruised from just coming fast. You did good, please dont shame yourself.
Donāt feel bad mama, He is ALIVE, the bruises will fade, also way to go for your husband as well, my childrenās daddy would have fainted on meā¦lol, God bless you and your family honey, sending prayers
It happens hon I was in the hospital and had my boy fast and he came out bruised too. Iām glad you are both ok. Congrats.
He will be fine. Babies are resiliant and they bounce back.
My blue berry baby boy. He was super bruised. Me trying to hold him in & him coming out so quickly he was soo bruised. He was fine & it was totally better in a few days!
I gave birth in the hospital, was induced but she came fast (8mins from starting to push to her being out) and she was bruised. They told me it happens sometimes. Cleared up within a few days.
My son was brusied from not fitting into my pelvis. Itāll take a few days for it to go away can try a warm cloth to help the body absorb the blood causing the brusing but since he is brand new wouldnāt try much more then that cause of how sensitive their skin is.
Mama, you did a GREAT job! Do NOT beat yourself up about this! My daughter had a little red welt on her forehead from being stuck in the birth canal (her head was turned) for an hour or so and it went away within a week. Trust in your doctors and nurses, they are there to take care of you both and they will tell you what and if you need to worry about anything.
It happens momma! Congratulations on your new family member! The bruising will heal just fine on its own. One of my twins had to be forcibly removed from under my ribs during their C-section. He had bruises all down both legs. I felt horrible. He will heal momma.
Thereās nothing you could have done differently. You did a great job giving birth and you should really be proud of yourselfā¦heās healthy and thatās all you can ever ask for
Omfg youāre a rockstar! Your baby will be fine as far as bruising goes. Itāll fade. This real life story will rock on forever more! Congratulations momma
If they were worried they would tell you. Even people who have natural births can have a bruised baby. Donāt worry about it.
Itās perfectly normal mama. Youāre a champion and you did amazing. You should be proud of yourself! Take care of yourself and enjoy your baby. Congratulations!
You are a Rock Star momma. He will be fine. Congrats!!! Ask the doctor as well but he will be fine.
One of my twins wasnāt turned quite right and he had his hand up over his left eyeā¦ he kept hitting my pelvic bone as I was pushing. He came out a bit bruised but in about a week it was gone
Make sure they address the jaundice issue. Is part of any unnatural color because he/she has a jaundice situation??? If so what is causing it and what are they doing about it?
Bless you and your baby. . Also you should ask your doctor about the bruises.
I would consult your Dr. and the babyās pediatrician, not Facebook.
My first son was bruised from them pulling him out and they broke gifs collar bone he healed really fast
He will be ok. Bruises fade. Good job. Maybe a homebirth next time. A midwife would be so much easier to communicate these concerns to.
It happens. Even if you give birth in the hospital
He will get better,so happy you got him into this world, am very proud of you!
You didnāt do anything wrong! Oh my goodness! You are amazing to have gone through this. Congratulations!
What a great story to tell that boy later!! Congratulations!! Heāll be fine! Though probably one of those who will always insist on being EARLYā:rofl:
Nature takes over sounds like he was in a hurry to get here. Happy hes healthy. Congratulations.
Heāll be ok, just remember what you and he did was nothing short of BADASSā:muscle:
You did nothing wrong! Nature took its course. Congratulations!
Had 6 natural all had a wee bruise here and there but went away quickly
Theyāve seen it all. Donāt worry.
It is normal. Think about the muscles contracting and contracting his little body was like a punching bag. It goes away within a day or two.
Yes my youngest. It will go away. You dilated so fast you bruised him.
It happens all the time girl no biggie
Well to start with, you need a different doctorā¦and you didnāt bruise him intentionally, so calm down, he will heal babies are resilient!! Enjoy your new bundle of joy!!
Good job momma for a healthy baby!!!
Congratulations - you and the baby will fine
You did good. Congratulations
Awww. My son was bruised from head to toe. He came very fast also. In about 2 weeks, all the bruising was gone. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to you and hubby. You did an amazing job!
Dont you dare feel guilty of bruising it was nothing you did wrong.
Congrats! And well done for such a quick birthā:+1: my daughter busted blood vessel in her eyes she can so quick! It will resolve itās self, and baby will be just as beautiful like any bruise it takes a little time, babies are amazing and will recover quickly, see ur doc if u are concered
WOWā¦AWESOME.
Congratulationsā¦!!
So Happy Everyone is Goodā¦from all the post sounds like itās normalā¦mine was an emergency C-sectionā¦but he is a strapping young Man of 21yrs old nowā¦God Blessā¦
Arnica cream will take the bruising away quickly
Girl . You honestly did amazing , I delivered our first on my hands and knees . And because I contracted so hard ( no meds all natural ) I bruised him from his forehead to his upper lip and he has a deviated septum . Donāt kick your butt over this ! He will be okay
Oh hunny you are amazing and not your fault things happen we canāt control and birth is definitely one donāt beat yourself up about it just be thankful heās alive and well plus youāre ok because hun it could be worse Iām sure the Drs did everything to check your baby out and if they say heās ok then know heāll be ok but congratulations to you you are awesome momma that did what I know I can never do have a baby without drugs lol
He will be fine.
Sounds like you are quite a fierce momma!
You baby is traumatized only bc he left his warm little space and had to come out into the big crazy world.
I had a friend that refused to push and her baby had a warped head from being in the birth canal too long. We thought it would never round out, but it did and sheās a perfect 7 year old now.
Babies are much more resilient then we give them credit for. You take care of you and that new bundle and donāt worry.
What a rockstar! Youāre AMAZING
Yes, my son was born very fast and with 2 pushes he was out. His entire face and some of his body was bruised. Same concern with the jaundice. Just feed, feed, feed! The bilirubin comes out in their stools. Place him in just a diaper in a warm room directly in the sunlight. Make sure his torso is exposed to the sunlight. It helps breakdown the bilirubin that causes the jaundice. Watch for sunburn. Windows can magnify the rays. Heāll be fine
My oldest son had a failed forcept attempt had bruised cheeks for a few week other than that he was fine obviously not as bad as yours tho hope your both ok xx
Itās not your fault. It happens. My baby was born with a small bride on her brain from the pressure it took to push her out.
He probably would have been bruised regardless of the position I bet. My concern is the jaundiceā¦ why are they worried he has it and not just testing to see? My son had it bad
Heās fine! My son came out with a bruise on his lip for being on pelvic bone too. It goes away in a few days or a week
Bruising is normal, from what I was told, especially if they came out quick! This is my second son. He had bruising around his mouth and both hands. Your baby will be okay!!
My baby came in the car too heās fine. Most r bruiced at birth in some way car or not hun xxx
My baby girl was bruised as well she came out face firstā¦ And they went away but i was really concerned doctors werent and she was perfectly fine
Oh honey just be glad your hubby was there to help and you werenāt alone. It may even seem a funny story as time goes by. Seems like a special Christmas blessing to me. Bruises will heal and I donāt think you did anything wrong. He just didnāt want to wait. God bless you and your family.
My last baby was so fat her face was bruised from coming out. I was worried it hurt her but the doc said she was fine. If youāve had a doc check him out heāll be ok. Lots of babies are bruised. Itās just the natural process sometimes. Thatās a big thing coming out of a small space.
Awww congrats and what a story to tell him.when heās older lol !!! The bruising is completely normal. My daughter has some as well from being born so fast
Bruising is typically from how their head/face presents. Not necessarily from pushing. Itāll go away soon
Amazing bruising is normal!
My daughter was born in hospital and was bruised.
My oldest was born with bruise on his head, due to me pushing too early /fast, but it went away in a few days
My daughters head was bruised on the sides. It lasted for about a week or so.
Oh mommasā¦I hope you gave him a good car nameā¦lol. Donāt fret over the bruises! Not your fault at all he was in a hurry to come! My boys have been covered in bruises for yearsā¦cuz boys are wild
Guess your not too worried though if your on facebook already
