Is it true you get more sick when you are pregnant with a boy?

I was poorly with son, but my three girls no problem…but on saying that we still can’t confirm if it’s because of different sex… anyway congrats and take care of yourself .

I didn’t have any issues with being sick with my son. Every pregnancy and every baby is different

With my son I only puked 4 times but I couldn’t eat anything except crackers and water. I did that from 6 weeks to 14 weeks

There’s really no way to tell. There’s no specific symptoms for a boy that’s different for a girl everybody is different.

I’ve been sick start to finish on both of mine so far and I have to say the sea bands from Walmart worked great and are only 10 bucks

I was deathly sick with my girls. Not my boys

Was sick twice the entire pregnancy with my boy. With my girl, I was sick constantly up until around 12 weeks.
With my twins, the entire pregnancy was just me puking :joy::joy:

I have both and I was crazy sick all the time. I was way more tired with the boys though.

I barely got sick with my 1st, girl.
Never got sick with my 2nd, boy.
Then I got extremely sick with my 3rd, boy.

I had more sickness with my girl then boy . So maybe it depends on the pregnancy

With my son I wasn’t sick at all. I am 11 weeks today and omg I am nauseous alllll the time.

I wasn’t sick at all with my boys but with my girl I was

I personally wasn’t sick at all with my son but with my daughter it started around 5 or 6 weeks just nausea, but no vomiting at all (so far I’m 33 weeks)

For me I was sick with my first son for only the first trimester then it was smooth sailing. Then when my second boy came, I was sick every day until I gave birth.

I was the opposite. Very few symptoms with my son.

5 months of morning (all dang day) sickness with my daughter.

I wasn’t sick at all with my
Boy. In fact, I literally had nothing except cravings. My girl, I was sick with tho.

Omg I was so sick and ended up in the hospital why because of my twins !! Good luck

I have 6… 3 of each… I was sicker with the girls.

I was extremely sick with both my girls but wasn’t sick hardly at all with my son

Having morning sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy.

I’ve always been told you are more sick with girls. With my daughter, I threw up from day 1 until actual labor! This time around I’m good but still hoping it’s a girl! :crossed_fingers:t2::crossed_fingers:t2:

Wasn’t sick at all with either of my first two. One girl one boy. The 3rd (girl) I was sick AF. 4th (girl) I felt sick the entire time but never puked

I didn’t have any sickness while pregnant wkth my little guy. :woman_shrugging:

I’ve only had a boy and never had any morning sickness I just think it depends on the pregnancy not the sex of the baby honestly

I was always told you got more sick if you were having a girl, but I’m almost 7 months pregnant with my girl and haven’t thrown up yet! I was just nauseous the first 2 weeks. I believe everyone’s bodies are different!!! Good luck to you❤️

I got sick everyday for 3-4 months straight, with a girl lol

I wasn’t sick with my girl but with my boy omg all day long it was horrible

I have a son and daughter and I got at the beginning while I was pregnant with my son but with daughter…I was sick until the day she come out

I wasn’t sick at all with any of mine. One boy and 2 girls

No everyone is different . I had 2 boys and a girl . Everyone said you usually are more sick with girls but I just gave birth to my son and I was mrisable the whole time lol . I was sick from morning to night . I had to get put on nausea meds because I couldn’t even hold down water . Good luck and congratulations! Ask your doctor about nausea meds it saved my life lol

I was sicker with girl

I never had morning sickness with my daughter or my twins

I was more sick with my girls then with my boys didn’t have morning sickness at all with my boys

Not true! Had to girls and I had morning sickness for 3 months.

I have 4 boys and a girl. I was sick with the last 3 fir 16 weeks they were boy, girl, boy. I don’t think that has much to do with it

Everyone is different. I never had morning sickness & I have 1 boy & 1 girl & currently pregnant 17 weeks .

For me it was both times…

I had a boy and never got sick once :woman_shrugging:t3:

I had morning sickness in the 1st trimester with all 3 of my kids but never that bad. I have 2 girls and 1 boy

Not with me. It was opposite

I’m 28 weeks with a little boy and I’ve been sick all throughout

With two of my babies I was DEAD SICK and with one I wasn’t, they’re all boys. It’s just how your body handles the hormone change. Watermelon helps and is good for so many things. Eat some!! Congratulations!!!:heartbeat::watermelon:

I was horrible sick with my girl not with my boys

I don’t really think sex of the baby had anything to do with it I have 2 girls and 4 boys, and I was really sick with my oldest daughter and my son , slight nausea with my youngest daughter and 2 sons, and 1 son I had no sickness so no I think it’s just an old wives tale and every pregnancy is different…

I was more sick with my girl than my boy, so no.

No! Everyone is different.

I didn’t get morning sickness with either three of my pregnancy and I had both one girl and two boys

No i didnt get sick at all with my son but horribly sick with all my girls.its your body not the sex of the baby

I was sooo sick and bitchie with my girls my boy was smooth sailing

Seriously I always thought pregnancies with girls are the worst. I was on a catheter with my last girl, first girl I was so young and thought maybe that was the reason. My son was easy peasy. Currently pregnant and LOOOOVING how I feel. Swore I was finally having another boy… NOPE it’s a girl. So, I’ve come to the conclusion every single pregnancy and time of pregnancy is completely different. No matter how much I want to believe something is a particular way for me… the BIG man upstairs determines that. Couple more weeks and you’ll soon find out :hugs:

I’m preg with a girl. Been sick AF everyday

I’ve always been told you are sicker with girls than you are with boys. I’m pregnant with my first and morning sickness (it’s actually been nausea majority of the day and vomiting after eating meals on the bigger side now that I’m 30 weeks but earlier on in the pregnancy, it was morning sickness) and she’s a girl. Pretty much everyone I know that had boys didn’t have any sickness whatsoever except for one person

I was told you get more sick with girls, but I was so sick with both of my boys. Everyone I know was sick when carrying boys not girls.

I got more sick with my daughters. I’m pregnant now with my second daughter and it’s all day sickness and I’m 27 weeks

Each pregnancy is different. I don’t think this indicates sex.

I have a boy and a girl and I had morning sickness bad with both I thought my daughter was a boy with how my pregnancy was going but its a girl

I’ve heard each pregnancy is different. I was not sick with my boys but this pregnancy I have been sick for weeks. On a nausea medication for it.

Everyone is different. I had both a boy and a girl and only had a little naseau at the beginning of each pregnancy.

I never got sick with myv3 boys but my daughter was breech and found out when het foot came out in labor…

Not true had a girl and was sick the whole time

I have always been sick at beginning but it was worse with my boys then the girls

Every one is different. My first was a boy, then I had 2 girls the same year. I felt about the same with both sexes. I drank allot of ginger ale and nibbled on saltine crackers which I kept next to my bed.

I’m currently pregnant with a girl and I was nauseas very early on till about 18 weeks. I’m 21 weeks now and I feel back to normal - kinda lol. My first pregnancy was with a girl and I was sick till about half way through and very tired! I felt gross haha. With my son I felt marvelous expect for the heart burn :tipping_hand_woman:t4:

No. I had HG with #1 and #4, #2 and #3 were perfect. All boys. Ask your doctor about Bonjesta. I couldn’t function without it.

I was never sick with my son. They only thing I had with him was dizziness if I didn’t eat every 3 hours or so.

Never sick. 2 girls. 2 boys.

I think it’s always different, I don’t believe in pregnancy myths lol. But I’m pregnant with my second boy and they both have been so rough

Nope really sick with daughter in and out of hospital multiple times. Pregnancy with son not so much.

My daughter i was sick my whole pregnancy my son i was not sick at all

Thats what I keep hearing too. I had HG during my pregnancy and surely it was a boy. It was a traumatizing experiance.

I was sick with my girls but not my boy

Nope , I didn’t at all. I did with all my girls. I felt more relaxed and pretty pregnant with our son.

I was SO SICK my first pregnancy (girl) my second I didn’t throw up once, I had some Nausea in the beginning but the worst was headaches & exhaustion (boy)

I had morning sickness with both my girls and my boy I felt so good and pretty lol So I don’t think it’s true. Although, I have heard the opposite, that you are sicker with a girl than a boy.

I had 2 boys and was not sick one day with either pregnancy. Not even nauseous :woman_shrugging:t3:

I have a girl and a boy, wasn’t sick with either. Just different cravings

My oldest is a boy and I never threw up at all with him, I now have a one year old girl and I was actually hospitalized on a drip I was that sick ended up prescribed cyclizine for sickness to take 3 times a day. My sickness never went away until around 10-13 weeks then came back again at the very end

Nope. I thought I had it bad with my son until I was pregnant with my 2 yr old I was throwing up hourly for about 10-15 minutes each time with her

I have 2 boys and one pregnancy I barely had any sickness and the second I was nauseated and had a headache all day everyday until 14 weeks.

1 boy and I was sick and throwing up till the day I had him :joy::sweat:

Never got sick once with my boy, couldn’t eat anything with both girl pregnancies

I always thought you got sicker with girls but i just had my 2nd girl a month ago and I never got sick with either of them. I got lucky. Hope yours doesn’t last long!!

I was really sick when I was pregnant with my daughter. But when I was pregnant with my son I wasn’t sick at all

They were all the same sick with me. Morning sickness was horrible

Oldest boy I was sick all every day, second pregnancy twin boys only sick first few weeks 4th a girl not sick at all xx

The girl was waaay rougher in my case! I was always told/heard you’re more likely to get sick with girls too.
I had a boy for my first pregnancy…nothing perfectly fine the whole time! My second pregnancy was a girl…morning sickness started around 7weeks and lasted my whole pregnancy. Was diagnosed with HG, 4 hospital visit, and on meds throughout 2nd & 3rd trimesters.
I never would’ve had another if my 2nd was my 1st.:frowning:

I haven’t had morning sickness almost all my pregnancy I’m 31 weeks with a boy I only had it 1 time which I’m not a person to throw up a lot either

Both of my girls we smooth easy pregnancies. With my boys, I was sick non stop, severe heartburn, sharp pains in my stomach the whole 9 months.

Talk to you’re obgyn about it if you aren’t feeling the best he might prescribe you something to help!

No sickness with neither one of my boys. My daughter I was nauseous. Everyone is different. Try sucking on a peppermint mama

I threw up with my daughter for 18 weeks straight. Currently 26 weeks pregnant with our son and I haven’t thrown up at all.

When I was pregnant with my boy my sickness wasnt that bad. But bot my heartburn was unbearable towards the end of my pregnancy.

Nah girls. Something about more hormones. My son was my easiest pregnancy both of my girls had me in the ER and I passed out a few times.

I had hyperemesis with 3/4 pregnancies. 2 boys and 2 girls. My first pregnancy (girl) I didn’t have any sickness.

I wasn’t sick at all with my first(girl) and sick the whole pregnancy with my second (boy)

I was much sicker with my 2 girls than my son

Much eaiser with my boys then girls for sure.
