My boyfriends cats pee in random spots in his house: Advice?

I’d definitely talk to your bf. Either he addresses the issue accordingly or it would be the cats or me. Harsh truth. Combination is essential though

I don’t think you should pursue this relationship, especially since he doesn’t see anything wrong with this situation. Not a good start at all.

Would it not help to have him neutered?

Cat pee is not easy to get rid of. It is much different than dog pee and it has a half life of 7 years. The neighbor across the street bought an abandoned house that cats have been in, and peed everywhere and he could not get rid of the cat pee smell he almost poured new cement over the inside. I do not recommend your moving in full time with him with the cat issue. You can still love him and keep your own place. You can stay there from morning till night then you can always escape to your cat pee free home. he’s not going to change in reference to the Cats and if you bug him about it he’s going to resent it…

Tomcats do this to mark their territory.

Some cats hate to share litter boxes

Give him a choice, you or the cat .

Get a new boyfriend. He is nasty!

DUMP THE GUY and MOVE ON.
