My daughter had a severe dairy allergy as well so her doctor switched to alimentium formula and within a week she was pooping normal and all her GI issues had resolved. ALSO don’t let anyone make you feel bad about not breast feeding anymore, if you truly want to try and do it dairy free then go for it but don’t feel guilty if you’re not prepared to give up every ounce of dairy. Also my daughter is almost two now and can have baked in dairy but not straight milk still.
We switched to nutramigen. My little still has issues and now drinks lactose free whole milk
I was born allergic to cows milk, it used to come out both ends, my mom was accused of not cleaning the bottles properly, the health visitor, visited the house and put in report that she washing them properly, my mom was at the end of her tether and ready to bang my head against the wall, the health visitor tried giving me wysoy, she told my mom that I wouldn’t take as it doesn’t taste nice, she gave me 4oz and I drank the lot, she told my mom to do another 4oz and I drank it again no problem, health visitor gave my mom a prescription for wysoy, the health visitor figured it out that I was allergic to cows milk, but amazingly I am no longer allergic to cows milk, I cannot remember the age I was when I stopped being allergic
milk allergy i was put on soya as a kid now there are some fantastic alternatives dont wait try your own combinations
Dairy might not be her only allergy, if you’ve switched her to dairy free formula and she is still having those symptoms it could be egg, wheat…etc
We used soy and both of my girls did fine… by the time they switched over to milk at one, they handled it fine
Try goat milk I tried all the above and still didn’t work.
