My daughter has been complaining of stomach pain and I am at a loss: Advice?

Get her in to see a GI doctor asap.

Try absolutely no gluten it maybe a gluten allergy

2 things.

First and foremost PUSH your doctor for internal imaging. Fight for your daughters sake. Eliminate any possibilities of internal distress.

Second. IF/Once the possibilities of physical discomfort is eliminated, if Motrin works I’m leading towards physical, talk to a psychiatrist. Children do not process emotions to the same degree. It is easier to express a physical ache than it is to say “mom I’m anxious” “mom I’m uncomfortable” “mom I’m having a panic attack” my head hurts and my stomach hurts are generally easier to understand AND explain because it’s something that they know they can feel.

You are your babies advocate. You are their voice. It is our job as mothers to help them understand and express their little world to everyone who inhabits this Earth around them.

How are her bowel movements? Are They solid, regular, runny, mushy, does she strain? If backed up Mirilax works pretty good. Pro biotics for kids helps my son( he is notorious for holding up to a week).
Possibly a motion sickness issue as well if it happens after being in a car. Resquest to get sent to a specialist. If the Dr refuses or fights find a new doctor for her

She was complaining about this several different times at my house and I had forgotten she had these issues and thought it was from all the bad stuff we fed her. There is no way it was attention seeking. She was having a great time and in middle if playing with kids while she said it was hurting.

My kids complained of stomachaches when they were being bullied.

U need to get her to the Gastro department at a hospital under a consultant and not a dr. GPs just dont know enough. They shld rule everything out before they leave u with a diagnosis of IBS or diet. U need to check if everything is ok before she flushes the loo aswell. Sounds nasty but it’s the most obv place to check first. The drs need to know of there is blood, mucus and how its formed. If they ain’t asking u these questions u need a new dr.

An endocronolist can find out

Crones disease have her checked. Goggle it.
