Girls definitely need to know this. Also how to service it

My seven year old mows grass he loves it

No I was 7 and cutting the lawn.

My kids helped every Saturday never killed any of them

Mow and weed eat…NO
Pick up paper and small objects, yes

You are over reacting. They are able as long as they take the proper care.

Should have started sooner!!!

It’s a good thing it teaches responsibility

I think it is great that the kids have to go out and mow and weed eat. It doesn’t hurt them and helps them grow into healthy, better rounded adults. It certainly isn’t going to hurt them to learn how to work.

There is nothing wrong with it

Great! Teaching good work ethic?

It is GOOD for them to get some sun and exercise and learn responsibility!!! `

They can do it. Just be careful. If they can’t hire some people to do it.

There is nothing wrong with that. When we were kids that’s how we made our money.

Absolutely ! Nothing wrong in that

Yes, hard work builds character

He is right on having them help around the house

It’s fine and good god he can’t freaking do it himself so lay off.

Teach them now and give them modest chores

Yes, kids need to have responsibilities

My kids do these sort of chores and more. Relax.

Yes let them do as much as they can

Teach them safety and how to work is the most important thing

It will not hurt them to work in the yard!!!

I’m for Dad they need to learn

Please keep teaching your children life skills. So many lazy people in this world.

It’s awesome! It’s definitely not wrong.

I’m sorry, is this really a question being asked? I have been doing chores since before I can remember. And for this woman to think her daughters are above doing yardwork? Grow up. The only thing that’s gonna happen from him teaching them to do work is they will have good work ethic!! She needs to stop coddling her girls!!

Some of us working class people cannot afford domestic help😁 Chores create a good work ethic.

It will make them better kids.

Yes indeed…teach them the way to go…

Our kids complained that their friends were paid allowances for doing chores. We told our kids as a family we work together to keep the household running. I said their allowance was “I allow you to use the phone, watch the tv etc.” All of them as adults are hard workers, confident that they can accomplish whatever they decide to do. They thank us all the time for the life lessons they learned.

Ain’t nothing wrong with it!

They are at the right ages

Dad’s teach the best Lessons

Need to start them somewhere, just so they are safe

Yes I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Start them young! It’s good for them!
I started younger then that

Wow kids today don’t do chores!
Good for them!

Good for them so that there not always on there phone and there tablets

They should’ve been doing it before now…

Is this a serious question? I wouldn’t let the younger one run the mower. But 13 is more than old enough to mow the yard. :person_shrugging: Don’t make your children soft. They are good skills to have.

My girls helped out at early ages
Just remind them, be careful

Let them work, it is a skill that is disappearing

If you don’t start now they will be lazy the rest of thier life.

Yes I started doing chores at 5yrs old

They are NOT too young!!
