This is kind of embarrassing to write, so; please keep my anonymous. My mom sent a nude photo to my husband. Straight after she sent it, she said it was an accident, and she meant to send it to my dad. I don’t know what to believe. I don’t think my husband is into my mom, but wtf? How do you accidentally send a nude photo to someone else other than your own man? What are your thoughts?

I’ve seen this happen and honestly, unless you suspect your mom for some reason, I really doubt she did it on accident. She’s probably just as horrified.

I’ve sent a pic message to the wrong person before. My friend was in my last messages and I thought it was my husband and accidentally sent it to her instead 
I feel like you should ask your mom instead of the internet? Nobody can tell whether it was an accident or not except her.

The names auto populate and it’s easy to select the wrong one. I’ve sent the wrong text to the wrong person plenty of times. They weren’t nudes, but I’ve still done it

Sounds like the problem is with your husband and not your mother… id say if she send the text saying she didn’t mean to not even a minute later then she truly didn’t mean to… maybe need to talk to husband about how he feels and about the situation all together…

Before you send a nude you’d think that someone would quadruple check to make sure it’s to the right person before sending.

Welllll … I’ve accidentally sent one to my daughter before. And posted my tits on snap chat when it was supposed to have went to my husband. My phone lags and I hit the wrong thing both times. Definitely mortifying and the pic that went to my daughter wasn’t too God awful bad but still accidents really do happen.

If AND ONLY IF your husband was the last person she text, and she sends those types of pictures regularly to your dad, then yeah it probably was just a mistake. But if she’s never sent a picture like that to your dad before or your mom didn’t text your husband recently then something ain’t right. I’d ask your dad if that’s normal behavior of her first.

I’ve accidentally drunk sent nudes to an ex when my fiancé and I got together. Granted I was drunk and don’t remember sending it at all, but I did tell him that I sent it to someone else just didn’t disclose who it was. I apologized and we’ve passed it just fine. If your mom sent one to your husband and he told you about it and showed you or you saw it come thru his phone and confronted both about it and they’re both genuinely embarrassed and upset about it then leave it alone. I highly doubt your mom would do it on purpose especially if you’ve been together a while and it has never happened before

Tell your husband to give you hos phone and delete it before he eveb sees it she told you I’m sure it was an accident it’s really easy to Accidently send pics to the wrong person I’ve sent messeges to the wrong person and pictures not nudes but still it does happen it’s easy to do

I feel we need more info. Like do they text regularly? Does she send nudes regularly? Why would you have to worry about your mom intentionally sending nudes to your husband? Because if they dont text often then shed have had to look for him if shes in the habit of sending them to your father the she should know who shes texting and noone should ever worry their mother might do something like that on purpose without past issues

I’ve never accidentally sent anything to anyone until yesterday. Thankfully it was just a text meant for the sitter watching my son, telling her I was running a few minutes late getting home, and I accidentally sent it to a fellow Jazzercise instructor instead. But it definitely sounds like it was an accident and you’re overreacting.
My aunt has also accidentally sent a nude photo to my mom because she was showing off her new dresser, with a mirror, and forgot there was a mirror and she was naked waiting for her lotion to dry before bed lol.
So it can definitely happen…

I text the wrong person just about anytime I try to write sm1 who isn’t my wife. I also reply to her if I’m trying to reply to sm1 else. My phone confuses me cuz it lags but also I just don’t pay attn /I’m burnt out

But if you are feeling some kind of way, theres usually a reason.

I can happen I guess… There’s a good reason not to take that kind of pictures. But years ago my mom & my ex slept together - an affair… It almost killed me. I never got over it just went on with life. We were separated but still… We did get back together for 10 yrs. They acted like it never happened. They’re both passed now so I’m going leave it along. Only you know them better than anybody. If you have the slightest feeling that somethings wrong it probably is. Good luck. Watch you back.

For you to know of the photo, I take it your husband was also honest enough to tell you… he could have deleted it and you wouldn’t have know.
