Honestly, as long as you kid is clean, covered (meaning dressed for the weather eg no sandals in the snow) and happy who cares?
Let her express herself those same people judge others for having bold hair and tattoos and piercings.
Why are you caring what other people think of your 3.5 year old? Encourage her creativity! If she wants to be a cheetah or a fairy who cares. My only rule with my kids is no jogging pants out in public or at school. If she’s loving it nothing and no one else matters
Excuse me u only live once and tommorrow isn’t promised so f what people think let ur kid be a kid thats why people are just miserable
if my 4.5yo wanted to do that i would do it. who cares what others think let your child be a child. kids are growing up too damn fast these days
My daughter at 3.5 wore a Cinderella dress and everyone at the store and restaurant that evening praised her. Let her be young she only gets to be it once. She will stop when she wants. Leave it up to her. As long as youre comfortable and ahe is who cares what anyone else thinks.
Do not stifle your childs creativity because other people are judgmental. Let a child be a child…doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Parent your child as you see fit…as for the dirty looks…let that baby strut her stuff up and down aisles just to spite the haters.
Nah its each to there own if your child wants to dress up go for it, they are only young once enjoy it while it lasts
Any age, when she wants to stop dressing up thats the time to stop. Hope she picks something outrageously special next time. If people look just just wave at them…theyll soon look away. Hope she has fun xxx
As long as she wants! They are only little for a short while let them be kids
As long as she is comfortable doing it. Let her be the guide
Screw them! You guys do you. Let her be happy. Sucks for them they cant be
Never… why worry about the reactions of anyone let her enjoy her childhood .My granddaughter lived her pajamas no one objected when she wanted her school picture taken . And you know she was ahead of herself every followed and they wear to grocery store and everywhere . WHO cares let them have their innocents let her be. Her happiness is all you need . They grow up to fast. ENJOY
I never stopped my kids… even as teens. My niece thought she was a cat til she was every bit of 12, whiskers and all. Oddly, even though I let them dress how they wanted, meaning mismatched or a tu tu over jeans, they’ve turned out just fine. They’re a bit eccentric with their likes and have no fear expressing their likes as adults.
My kids 7 and still dresses kinda weird in public. Pick your battles, it’s not like she’ll do it forever. Let her be a little girl
Literally I will STILL dress up as a princess (tiara, costume, hair- the works) to go to lunch with my little cousin.
Just yesterday I went to the store with a super hero cape on from playing with my son.
If anyone gives you trouble, draw whiskers on yourself too.
Dont make getting ready harder on yourselves by fighting eachother over costumes.
I’d be the mom to tell the on lookers to go fk themselves, kids need to be allowed to be kids. I have an attitude problem, lol!
Ignore the dirty looks. What you are doing is encouraging this young girl to be herself. She will grow up to be successful and to ignore the ones who stare and judge.
Shes only young for such a short time. Let her dress up for as long as she wants. People are going to judge no matter what you do, so do what makes your little one happy
Dress her up everytime! Ignore the dirty looks they’ll get over it. My son was 4 and still going to the mall in full out Mario suit lol
You mean I have to stop dressing up?
Hell no. If people don’t like it or understand too bad for them. Maybe when they are 35 lol
No dont discourage it!!! They only get to be little once!!! Screw everyone else. Let her express herself
Dress up with her who cares what others think
Who cares what other people think keep encouraging her mama
