When i had mine it started out light but progresses to heavier bleeding with clots. Some women bleed a little in the beginning could be implantation bleeding and some women bleed for months and some the whole pregnancy and have healthy babies. Bodies are weird and often do their own thing regardless of whats “the normal”. I had a friend told she had one without any exam and her kids almost 3.

I just went through this in July and it sounds like a missed miscarriage. Your body hasn’t reacted to the miscarriage yet. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. They will keep checking your hcg levels to document the drop weekly then give you some pills to force your body to naturally start the miscarriage process. Praying for your strength as you go through this.
Implantation bleeding happens when the fertilized egg implants itself into your uterine wall it does not happen at 5 weeks but spotting is normal in pregnancy just do what you are doing with the hgc levels

It depends on the bleeding. Implantation bleeding happens during pregnancy as well. Go for another checkup.
You could be having a missed miscarriage. I woke up to some pain in my side one day. After almost 6 weeks of blood tests and ultrasounds to measure for growth or stagnation it was finally determined to be a miscarriage after the sac started shrinking. I had to take 2 rounds of the pill to empty my uterus. I had no bleeding or hardly any pain/cramps until the pills stimulated labor. I carried my miscarriage for 7.5 weeks and it was the absolute worst time and experience of my life.

I had 2 miscarriages in 1 year. The first one I started to bleed some so I went to get checked out and they couldn’t find a heatbeat. The second time I went in for 9 weeks check up and they couldn’t find a heatbeat again. I lost both babies around 9 weeks, they were normal and strong heatbeats at 6 weeks. But by 9 weeks I had lost them both. And sadly I have been told I have to go through a third miscarriage before they will do any test to try and figure out whats going on. They did say if I get pregnant again to come back and they will put me on some medication to help get me through the 1st trimester. I would go to the hospital and have them run some test on you. Also if you dont have insurance go and get it now!! I know in Ohio if you get pregnant or have kids you can get caresorce for you and the baby!! Best wishes my dear

With my first I bleed at 6 weeks then again at 7 my body was trying to rid itself of what it thought was a foreign threat. I am rh negative and my first had a positive blood type my body thought it was a threat and tried to rid me of it. After getting the shots for it I stopped bleeding
My first baby was a miscarriage I had cramping when I had an ultra sound they could not see a heartbeat and it was under sized when I got pregnant for my next child I had a lot of spotting. I was put on complete bed rest. I spotted for three months. Then it stopped and my next child I spotted for one day

Make another doctor appointment and take it easy until you see them. It could be nothing, but you need to be very careful in case you are miscarrying. Praying everything is ok!
Yes I experienced this. I started bleeding and light cramps December 24th. Went to ER they said threatened miscarriage. Went back that Monday the said I was measuring 6 weeks and I was supposed to be 12 weeks. Ended up being in excruciating pain. Lots of bleeding, exhaustion, sadness and begging for it to be over with till January 4th and I passed a 12 week fetus that morning around 8

You will probably know today… It sounds like a miscarriage. I had one years ago and thats how it was it will get stronger and stronger cramps. Bleeding. Prayers.
I’m 14 weeks tomorrow and I had the same thing happen to me so much so that I went into the doctor for an emergency visit that’s how much blood I had when I wiped (I was 9 weeks at that point). It turned out I have a blood clot and need to be on pelvic rest. Everyone’s situation is different, but I feel spotting at that level of pregnancy is pretty common.

I bled pretty heavily for 3 days (with the baby I’m currently carrying) when I finally got to my doctor, baby was still there and doing good. There’s alot of reasons you could be bleeding Hopefully it’s all ok, I know I worried like crazy til I got an answer, try not to stress and take it easy…

I really wouldn’t trust a free clinic especially with an ultrasound. They aren’t equipped like an ultrasound tech is. But I’ve had 2 miscarriages and my last one I cramped and spotted for 2 days before I fully miscarried.

I had spotting but it was normal. It went away. I’d go to an OB or ER.

I bled at six weeks and had an internal ultrasound which included a pic of my “prawn”. They could do precise measurements too. It would’ve been too early to do normal ultrasound on either occasion. The free clinic would’ve been giving you an ultrasound before implantation too!

Yes!! They messed up a lot with my 2nd pregnancy and changed dates a few times

My experiences: I’ve lost 4. My first one was the most traumatic because I was almost 5 months along. It was full blown labor and not a happy one. It was also followed by a D&C. My second one was ectopic, and I knew before I even found out I was pregnant that something was wrong. Excrutiating side pain. I couldn’t even walk. I ended up having a portion of my right tube removed. The third time I was about 8 weeks along. I started cramping first, and I laid down as soon as the cramping started. After a couple hours I started to bleed. I went to the doctor and was told I’m miscarrying. It went on all day and the following day I had to have a D&C. The fourth one was much like the third, except I was close to 10 or 11 weeks. I did have 3 live births as well. 1 is a rainbow baby

I would say get checked out bc bleeding is hard to tell bc I had bleeding with my 3rd and I had a miscarriage after that one and it started out little then got heavier but I went to the hosp and they told me the level was getting lower so they told me I was losing my pregnancy. So I would just go get the levels checked and stuff that’s the best way to know …
I bled like I started my period when I was 6 weeks pregnant. It was the middle of the night it scared the shit out of me! I’ve had 2 previous full term pregnancies so this was new to me with the whole bleeding. I went to the hospital got checked out was still bleeding but everything turned out to be normal I stopped bleeding after about 2-3 days. Later I found out after a few weeks I had a blood clot so that could have been it. Here we are a year and a half later and my baby girl is alive and well. I’d get checked out again to make sure everything’s ok.
Went through this just without the bleeding, I was just way early when we found out I was pregnant & had our first ultrasound, I was right around 3 weeks along when I found out. My dude date ended up changing 3 different times. Currently 27w4d.

Your HCG hormone needs to double every 2 days.
Maybe it was a false positive? Following to see other people’s comments on this.

In my 1st pregnancy I bleed throughout the pregnancy and delivered at 28 weeks my 2 nd and 3rd pregnancy didn’t bleed at all
I didn’t have this issue with the test coming up negative and positive. But I found out I was pregnant around 4 weeks. Around 5 weeks I started to bleed pretty heavily. Went to the doctor and they did a pelvic exam and say that everything looks ok. But they would test my levels. Came back 3 days later and they tripled. My issue is dehydration. I’m still bleeding to this day. I feel nauseated everytime I drink water so I try different things and sometimes I just feel too gross to drink anything. I’m not 25 weeks and baby is doing great! Try not to panic until you have definite answers! Good luck mama!

At 7 or 8 weeks pregnant with my 1st I was riding a city bus and it hit a big bump. I thought I wet myself and found a bathroom. It was blood. A LOT. I thought I miscarried not knowing what was what and didn’t go to the hospital, just started grieving. 6 weeks later I still felt pregnant and I got seen and was still pregnant. I now have a healthy man sized 13 year old.
The placenta had torn away a bit and caused the bleeding. Fingers crossed you get good news. Until then please rest and try your best to keep stress in check. Prayers

I had a chemical pregnancy a year ago. Almost 6 weeks. Started bleeding lightly. Went to hospital. Hcg was going down and they couldn’t see anything. Then bled like a period and saw some of the tissue 
it’s terrible to go through. Best of luck to you <3

I had what we assumed were periods for 2 months after I conceived my last baby like I got pregnant in March had what I would assume was a period in April and May… Delivered a healthy baby boy in December…

My first pregnancy I bled few days a month for several months, like a regular period, delivered at term. My second pregnancy I started bleeding right at 12 weeks, but it was heavier bleeding and I did miscarry.
Had the exact same symptoms as you in October. Had SEVERAL positive tests and after the second day of bleeding had a negative test. Totally miscarried. Sounds to be the same for you.
Everyone is different there could be bleeding a lot cramps
If you only had one test show up positive then you may have gotten a bad test & it showed a false positive result. It happens unfortunately

I bled like a period the first 5 months of my pregnancy small clots and everything. Most everything went well. Had him a little early at 36+6. Small nicu stay he was 4.5lbs. I had a short delivery. I’m also 35 so there were other risks. Don’t worry till you know. every pregnancy is different.
Back in 2011, I woke up and looked like someone ripped my uterus out! Blood pouring down my legs, I was covered in blood! Come 8/31/2011 I have birth to a little boy! Pregnancy is weird, don’t lose faith!
Happened to me with my first. Born perfectly healthy. They told me it was most likely a “healthy implantation” bleed. 
I had something similar and it was a subchorionic hemorrhage. The bleeding has stopped for me and baby is okay…
i was 6 weeks and started to cramp then started to bleed and the next day i had bad bad cramps still bleeding then had a big clot come out witch i believe was the baby

That’s exactly how my last miscarriage went 
My daughter had an early miscarriage the same day her test came up positive she went to er and they did the hcg level which pretty much said she wasn’t pregnant any longer
similar thing happened to me about a year ago and it ended up being a early miscarriage.

Like a period bled I for sure thought I miscarry but they did a sonogram and I saw her healthy heartbeat. They just diagnosed it as a threatened miscarriage

I’ve had the same thing happen to me twice in the past. Unfortunately they were both chemical pregnancies. Maybe go to your doctor & explain the situation. They might draw a blood sample and test for HCG to confirm whether or not you are still pregnant. If Doctors can’t do that then wait for 2 days & take another pregnancy test. HCG levels double approx every 24hrs I think so if you are still pregnant then your levels should definitely be high enough to give a positive on a test. If the test is still negative then it’s most likely you’ve had a chemical pregnancy. I am sorry to say though that it doesn’t sound good & it’s most likely a CP. I have known women to bleed during pregnancy so it’s definitely best to check with the Doc or another test. Hope you’re ok

If it was a miscarriage, the tests should still say positive. Your hormones will still be there. It could be you had a false positive on Monday. But also with the way you described the bleeding with the clots, I would assume miscarriage. Praying for you.
I would go to the ER you never know. I thought mine was just spotting from having sex I ignored it cause i usally bleed after sex and my OB knew. 3 days later I was having a miscarriage even if you know your body I would double check to make sure.
Unfortunately it sounds like a miscarriage. I had a positive test at 4 weeks and 4 weeks and 4 days my levels were 0.

Yes, my 3rd…I bled and ended up losing him at 13 weeks, they never put me on bedrest or anything. Then got a pregnant again a year later and was also bleeding, out on bedrest and she was born at 37 weeks healthy as could be! Finally the bleeding stopped around 26 weeks and I was released from bedrest but by that time I had already used all my FMLA and ended up losing the job that I was at for 13 years so I just continued with the bedrest.

It’s more than likely a miscarriage. You were probably in the very early stages where Monday you had JUST enough hcg to test positive but the pregnancy wasn’t viable so your levels dropped and a test wouldn’t pick it up anymore. I’d still check the levels at the hospital, my exs mother bled the entire pregnancy each month like a period through two of her pregnancies.

Alot of women have these and not even know they was pregnant…
It does sound like a miscarriage but no one can say for sure, hope it’s not it.

Miscarriages are very common I. The first few weeks and most women don’t even know they just think it’s their typical period. I think the only ones that could confirm this for you are drs /gyn that can do the proper testing, ect. Just know whatever the result is you are not alone.
I’m going through that now my bleeding started lastnight. It’s not heavy like my usual period.
It could possibly be a ectopic pregnancy the way that sounds honestly not trying to scare you but you need to go get seen by your obgyn

Unfortunately it sounds like a miscarriage especially with your test already being negative. You were probably just at the stage for the HCG to register on a test. I’m sorry my first 4, 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th pregnancies all ended in miscarriages. I’m sorry you’re going through this. While some women do bleed during pregnancy without issues that was never the case for me. Your most definite answer is going to be a blood test at the hospital.
Usually bleeding and cramping (I have had 6, just had another in October) But I did bleed heavy for 20 weeks with my younger son. I had placenta previa

Sometimes early enough they are classified as chemical pregnancies. You can pop a positive than days later start your period

This happened to me take a test see if it’s still positive or if it’s fading … it sound like you’ve had/ having a miscarriage
Not necessarily, I had that throughout 3 of 4 pregnancies. Don’t stress, try to relax and go see a dr in 5 to 7 days to check HCG. Hope all goes well for you
I had my period but lighter with all 3 of my pregnancies only the first month though and then they went away until after birth. So it’s possible you are still pregnant .
Dont ask on social media. Please call your OB/GYN. IF you read all these comments you’ll get overwhelmed. Call your Dr. PLEASE

So sorry. As you miscarry the hormones levels go down. I have gone through it.
I bled throughout 2 pregnancies. See your OBGYN. They need to track via internal ultrasound and/or HCG blood levels

I just went thru this. I’ve had 11 chemical pregnancies. It sounds like that’s what you are going thru. It’s like a bad period.

I’ve had it happen. Then a month later I didn’t have my period and was pregnant with my son. I would just get checked out by your dr
I know for myself my positive test wouldn’t show up on a pee test and I had to have my blood drawn
Some women still have a period when they are pregnant,just take another test after you stop bleeding if its negative i would still do a blood test

This happened to me. It was a chemical pregnancy. They told me to treat it as a period and I could try again: 4 weeks later I was pregnant with my son.

I just went through this as well! In November I found out I was about 5 weeks and I miscarried and then I miscarried again in January around 4. Chemical pregnancies for me. There was never a baby formed. But I’m currently 6 weeks now and there’s a little baby and heartbeat 
I’m sorry you’re going through this. My dr told me if I wanted to try again I should bc it’s easy to get pregnant right after a loss

I went to the hospital bleeding and was 4 week they couldn’t find a heart beat sent me home with miscarried paper work and my daughter is now 2years old so don’t stress until you see your obgyn

It could be what is called a threatened miscarriage. It could be break through bleeding. It could be your hormones still having your period. It could be the shedding of the sac because the egg has attached to the uterus. It could be a sub chorionic hematoma, where there is a small clot between the placenta and the uterus. There are many reasons for bleeding in early pregnancy. Until you are 20-25 weeks pregnant they unfortunately can’t do anything. Drink lots of water, don’t over do it, and try to stay off your feet.

With me it was bleeding,cramping and I saw my son when he came out also hormone levels were dropping I had a late miscarriage
