Zantac75. Saved my life through all 4 of mine
Lemon juice. Sounds weird but thats the only thing that worked for me
Nooooo to Tums, they honestly make it worse. I used OTC meds, 150 mg, Omeprazole approved by my OB-GYN.
Milanta sleeping sitting up a little bit and warm lemonade cold milo was my fav worked so good someone told me warm black currant cordial but it made it so much worse milk and
Bicarb sofa is meant to help but I didn’t try it.
I had to get a prescription for it
Zantac helps me I’m 36 weeks I get it really bad as well and u take 2 zantac every day one in morning and one an hour before bed it helps

gaviscon. Wal-Mart sells it. it foams and taste icky but milk washed it down well for me. my Dr recommended it and worked for all 5 of mine thank God.
Eat alot of ice cream…
It works…
Milk or ginger biscuits
Alkezelter chew tablets extra strength
Well milk causes heart burn so you weren’t helping yourself there… I have to take heart burn medicine because mine is SO BAD.
If you’re not okay with taking medicine, try eating a banana before bed and sleeping with your head elevated from your chest. Good luck!!! Congrats on baby
Apples!! Works like magic
Anything with ginger…especially these guys, and they taste AMAZING…
Allllll the Zantac.
My dr put me on zantac bc mine was so horrible…
Eating a slice of white American cheese
My Dr gave me zantac it helped but still had bad days
Milk and more milk. I have heartburn so bad I puke acid. I drink up to 2 gallons of milk a day as that is the only thing that helps mine
Zantac or Pepcid AC twice a day.
Slice of raw potato is an ole time remedy all natural
Green apples are said to be good for heartburn
Arbonne digestion plus. It’s a probiotic/prebiotic. It’s the only thing that would touch my horrible indigestion with both pregnancies. I couldn’t skip a day though. I had to religiously take it. It also helped with the slowing down of the GI we get while pregnant, which can be so painful. It was legit a miracle for me with my pregnancies. And yes, I’m a consultant but no, I’m not trying to sell you anything. I don’t care how or where you purchase it. Just trying to help you feel better. Good Luck mama!
Eat 1 teaspoons Baking soda and drink a sprite
Take a walk after eating or stay upright to help aid digestion. Let gravity work for you. Also, dill pickle juice can help.
Ask your dr about baking soda. I swear it works! Take a sip of water add 1/4-1/2 tsp baking soda… swish and swallow drink more water and you will burp like Homer Simpson
I lived on gaviscon sachets. I’d even wake up during the night and squeeze one in my mouth. It became the only way I’d get through it.
I drank ginger tea and ate Marie biscuits
Milk makes it worse in the long run. I used to suffer daily with heartburn and acid reflux but I have only had maybe 2 or 3 instances of either since I went vegan 3 years ago. Good luck
Zantac 175 is safe to take
I had awful heartburn as well. I couldn’t eat peanut butter and definitely eat 2-3 hours before laying down
The only thing that helped with my second pregnancy was maximum strength Zantac. But with my first minty chewing gum helped a lot.
I took Zantac with my twins - it was the ONLY thing that worked.
Ok I thought this was crazy but I tried it myself. Pickle juice
I take Zantac twice a day. I’m 28 weeks and have taken it the whole time. Lol
Are you sure it’s not gallstones? Tums and milk would irritate it…pay attention if you’re getting " heartburn" after fatty foods and/or dairy
Blue bottle of Mylanta worked wonders for me during my last pregnancy that and not eating anything oily also dairy set me off and tomato based foods like spaghetti Bolognese ECT
I drank coke or ate ice.
Over the counter Zantac 75mg the generic brand…twice a day…I felt like a fire breathing dragon and it kept it at bay and took tums in between if needed…or a shot of pickle juice works good too instead of tums but definitely take Zantac
Milk makes mine worse. Gaviscon and Zantac are the only things that work for me.
My first pregnancy I took the generic for zantac. But with my little boy nothing worked. I ate tums like they were candy
Get your gallbladder checked… after my second son I had to get removed bc it was so in flamed…
Vinagar helps drink a table spoon or so and out Will be feeling great pickle juice has vinagar and also works
I thought I was having a heart attack the pain was so bad one night I went to ED.
I know it’s crazy but I was taking zantac but eating a couple green olives did wonders
Small, nonacid (tomatoes, coffee, oj pinapple… foods high in acid) meals as uteus taking up most abdominal space up to ribs, squishing stomach against upper sphincter (closure) of stomach. Do not recline x20 min post eating. Ginger always good for GI upset and safe for you and baby.
When laying down try to lay on your left side as much as possible; it really does help! I had Mylanta bottles every where, and as much as I hated the chalky stuff it helped too! I had it will all 4 pregnancies I know it’s no fun! Good luck!
Bicarb in water and prop yourself right up when sleeping
Ginger biscuits always worked for me
Bakeing soda and water
Chew gum. It actually helps.
Drink pickle juice! Sounds gross but it was the ONLY thing that gave me relief
I was prescribed Zantac. At the end of pregnancy I’d take one in the morning and one before bed.
Omeperazole, that’s what my OB prescribed! That stuff is AMAZING!! You can get it over the counter as well, they sell generic at Walmart or and pharmacy the brand name is Prilosec, but the name brand is pretty pricey, you only take one a day, after I started taking it I literally had absolutely no heartburn whatsoever!! Hope you feel better soon!
Tums I ate them like candy
Put brick under legs of head of your bed vs xtra pillows = 45’ angle sleep on right side to facilitate stomach empty. Abd massage 20 min post eating start near right hip clock wise over stomach down to Left hip over pubis continue. This is the same for infants but recline them looking at you on your thighs while your feet on a stool or table(bent knees) always clocwise! Air or…releases, comfort! As parastalsis, gut movement increases discomfort increases.
Almonds and peppermint tea
Sounds crazy but drink a shot vinegar
Tums and milk didn’t work for me either. The only thing that worked for me was a 12 oz can of pepsi
I ate ice cream…
Made some curry that was way too spicy in general let alone for pregnancy. Took a couple days of having ice cream bars… And was gone.
Childrens chewable pepto.
I had to get medication from my doc.
Zantac is safe and what I had to use towards the end of my pregnancy
Zantac! It saved me during my pregnancy.
I took medicine daily for it (had it before pregnancy and just got 10 times worse after) even taking my medicine I would get it bad. 1st make are you don’t eat too late. Eating and going to bed/ laying down can make it worse. But the biggest thing I could tell that helped was to eat ice. Water didn’t but ice did good luck mama and remember it will be worth it in the end
Omeprazole is what I take and I havent had heart burn since
I take zantac twice a day, my doctor put me on carafate, I drink a little milk, I use tums, I sleep upright. I still have awful heart burn. Sometimes you cant fix it.
My mom use to say, drink cola or eat dry bread.
Baking soda and water
I have to take zantac…I’m 36 weeks and tums is just candy to me now… even zantac doesn’t always work 100%.
Call your ob if it feels like fire i had an inflamed liver
Pineapple juice. I know it sounds crazy but it works
I some times do a shot of pickle juice or eat some plain mustard
Rolaids, i took them through all 3 pregnancies and my kids are full grown and healthy.
Been there the doctors prescribed zantac for me. Talk to your doctor about it
Try drinking baking soda in water . Just drink enough to help your stomach problems.
One day I had heartburn so bad I was in tears. I had to work a 5-10 shift that day and I tried everything in the day, Zantac, tums milk, nausea meds, tried taking a nap propped up, ice cream lol. I was so miserable!! I went ahead and got ready thinking maybe if I got moving and was up for a while it’d calm down. I get to work and they could tell it was painful. The district manager was there and told me to try orange juice . I said your NUTS for even mentioning oj at a time like this!! She said just try it, if it doesn’t work I’ll work your shift and you can go home . So I tried it and she even bought it!! Worked like a charm!! It’s like my body was making too much acid at the time. Sounds crazy to me but worked!!
Tums/rolaids. I coukdnt eat anything with spaghetti sauce or chocolate most of my pregnancy
Liquid Malox was the only thing that helped during my pregnancy. The hospital gave it to me…as it was all they deemed safe…and it worked great. Tums never did a thing for me.
Pickle juice works wonders talk to your Dr
I drank organic peppermint tea to help with mine. I had heartburn really bad like you with my 3 pregnancies and it seemed to help. I could not even drink water.
My dr prescribed me Zantac
Only home remedy I know is a tsp of baking soda in a small glass of warm water. Drink it fast because it tastes awful and might make you burp. Not recommended if you high blood pressure. I was told to take prilosec otc. I was also given a prescription of zantac. I also would use some of the liquid antacid when it got really bad and I still had to wait for pills to work.
My doctor had me take maximum strength zantac
I ate toothpaste yeah it’s worked a little this sounds crazy but if the oj doesn’t work eat half a lemon I only discovered it works as it was a craving lol
Tums don’t work they actually make it worse. I was recommended to take the heartburn relief pills they worked like a charm. Take them everyday 2 times a day you’ll feel the difference
Doc told me to take Zantac to prevent, and tums if it still happens. But honestly tums have been working great for me. They didn’t with my first so I’m so glad they do this time lol. But I’d try Zantac or off brand as a preventative step & then see if tums help if it still occurs
