Drink plenty of water. Take care of yourself and talk to your doctor.

Pcos forsure I had the same issue before I got pregnant

Sounds like it could be PCOS

Possible iron deficiency

It might not be Endo, it could be PCOS and/or uterine fibroid cysts. I have fibroid cysts that grow on my fallopian tubes and they cause all the symptoms you just described. So it could be that your have uterine fibroid cysts whether it be caused by PCOS or other issues, getting an ultrasound will get you your diagnosis.

I have these same issues and I have PCOS, treated with metformin, spironolactone, and bc.

Same problem. If you are done having kids and there no other issues you can look into having an ablation. This is what I did, I don’t have any regrets and I haven’t had a period since.

Mine were because of my thyroid issue… I have hashimotos. They were so painful I could barely walk. My back hurt so bad too. IUD fixed that problem real quick. Haven’t had a period in almost 4 yrs.

From the time I started my period till after my last child was born, mine where always heavy. It got to the point of whenever I stood up I had to run and change my pad. I went to the doctor and there was no reason for it. I had an ablasion done. ( they burned my uterus) never had a period since.

My foster daughter has those same issues… please don’t take the word of random people online and see a Dr asap…

Take 600 MG ibuprofen every 4 to 6 hours for up to 3 days . It will help with the heavy bleeding and pain

Really taking advice from people on Facebook!:crazy_face::crazy_face::crazy_face::crazy_face:

Chelated magnesium!!

Pamprin, over the counter worked for me .

I have magnesium lotion i use on my legs at night if they are bad.

For your legs take calcium magnesium and D3. For the cramps have sex.
The cramping will go away almost immediately.

Magnesium is amazing for restless legs. Get a good one and have daily.

Moving to organic hygiene products r the cup will help. Mines went from 6 days to 3.

I know this is hard to believe but put a bar or 2 of Irish Spring soap between the sheet and mattress by your feet! Only Irish Spring soap works. I had severe nightly leg cramps for years when I was told about the soap. I thought what could I lose. I have not had a leg cramp since!!

Sounds like it could be endometriosis or a fibroid. I would hope your doctor does blood work and an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok

Yes I had blood clots as big as my fist and pads and tampons couldn’t stop it I was changing them and pads every hour I told my Dr that I forgot what the formal word is but they scraped my uterus and I don’t have no period no more at all but I did have my tubes tied too so you have to kind of be a little older if you don’t want kids to do that it’s endoplasties or something like that not DNC

I had an endometrial ablation. I couldn’t even leave the house after my second child. There wasn’t a product that could hold what my body was putting out.

I ended up with a hysterectomy. I had endometriosis and fibroids. Best thing that ever happened.

If it’s radiating down your legs, see a pelvic floor physical therapist. Trust me they can do wonders depending on your issue

I had the same problem. The pain at ovulation was cysts and the heavy bleeding was endometriosis. Had 2 ablations before the bleeding stopped. Saw multiple different doctors before I was finally diagnosed correctly. A few told me it was in my mind.

Restless legs is proven to be from playing sports as a child continuously (being like 3 a year or one all year round) and heavy periods can be lack of hydration or something diagnosed on an ultrasound such as fibroids, adenomyosis or endometriosis. I have gotten an iud to help with heavy periods and only drink water when menstruating. For restless legs I take a muscle relaxer when super intense and use a weighted blanket

Idk, if you find out let us know. I bleed through ultra super tampons in 30 -40 min and regular in 15. 50cent piece sized clots. This goes on for a 1 1/2 days, then it gets normal. Gyno said it’s normal for premenopausal women who have had their tubes tied…I am not sure.

Probably a bad answer, but it works for me🤷‍♀️ if I start feeling the pain coming on I take 2, sometime 3 ibuprofen (want to catch it before your in complete pain). Keep a hot pad on whatever is hurting. Itll help your legs for sure, also laying on your back and doing bicycles as well as stretching them. Get bundled up, and whatever you do…do NOT eat sugar. Giving your body what it needs (lots veggies, etc.) while in your period will cause it to shorten, sometimes even takes the pains of a period away. My mom started doing that with me while I was in high school and it worked. There was even a time where my period only lasted two days😎 eating lots of sugar will keep you at 7 days. Getting off of birth control, if you are, will cause it to be longer. Sometimes being on it will do the same thing. Also, drink lots of water. My mom has super heavy periods, and would be so in pain that she would puke. And both of these have helped her

Have you tried vitamin E,It was a big help to me, I still take one every day, also good for restless legs, REALY works and all natural,

Have Dr check magnesium levels. Low…can cause restless legs. Also Dr can usually do ablation procedure to help heavy bleeding

I had these problems where they found bad cysts on my ovaries and uterus. So i had to have them removed along with my cervix. Now i am all better. But everyone is different

Stress, inflammation, hormones, disease can all cause disruptions in your cycle. I had super heavy periods until I went on a low carb diet.

Low iron and fibroids. I take iron pills and also use Dragon Time essential oil while drinking a ton of water while having my period. These three things have really helped. I would definitely consult a Dr. Before adding addition iron to your diet as you can overdose.

Get tested for PCOS, uterine fibroids, and endometriosis. Use hot pads on your lower abdomen when your in pain, Tylenol helps, don’t use tampons when you’re bleeding heavily (I’ve found it makes it worse). Ask your obgyn if a specific birth control might help, AFTER getting your hormones checked. Good luck to you, it’s tough!

I had same issue. I have early endometriosis. I am in a special birth control pill to help until I get ready to have a procedure done.

Hormones are off. Too much or too little of something. Get your blood tested and see if you can take a supplement or just stay away from certain foods around the time of your period.

Just in case, have your thyroid checked. I had painful and heavy periods for years and more than one period a month almost every month. Doctor kept telling me that was normal. To find out I had Hashimoto’s, a thyroid disease. The thyroid lets the body know when to start period and having thyroid problems can cause heavy periods with lots of pain.

Your symptoms sounds like endometriosis, however, sometimes low dose birth control pills can help alleviate some of these symptoms. You need a ob/gyn that specializes in reproductive issues. Our opinions are just that based on our particular issues.
Good luck.
Where do you live?
I have a fantastic doctor who would be of great help to you.

I was told for 7 years that heavy bleeding was normal and so were the clots that were falling out. I finally got a dr who asked me 3 questions looked in eyes and said this is how we are going to fix this issue. I also had a polyp on my cervix that was causing bleeding in between my periods if I beared down to hard try go poop. I had the surgery and now I am just waiting on my next period to come so we can see how it helped.

I have PCOS, but recently having “different” symptoms that mimic the ones mentioned. It looks like a fibroid from my ultrasound.

I can’t help with the restless legs, but I used to bleed so heavy. I couldn’t figure it out. I knew all moms after 2 kids pee more often , but I was going through a big box of tampons every month between all the changes when I pee and super heavy flow. I talked to my sister about how I literally felt like my v was swelling shut. Turns out using so many tampons aggravated my slight latex allergy. I switched to a menstrual cup and it’s amazing. I still pee a lot but not 1/3 as much as I did on tampons. I also was tested for endometriosis but was negative… good luck!

Midol and ibuprofen worked amazing for me. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

Make them test you for uterine fibroids. They can cause very heavy bleeding

I have endometriosis and I have the same symptoms

I had same issues, had several fibroids. Partial hysterectomy cured all.

I always had awful heavy cycles. I’m now on a rx called Norethindrone. It really helps…check with your doctor. It will take your bleeding away or to just spotting. Good luck!

My youngest daughter had heavy periods with horrible cramps for years. She tried about 4 different birth control pills all having some sort of issue. She was finally prescribed Lysteda 650mg. It’s a medication they used for hemophilia. She takes two tablets 3 times a day for five days while on her menses. She went from bleeding through every day and having to wear an adult pull up at night to only having to wear a regular pad and change it a couple times a day. She also went from being on over a week to maybe just under five days. She doesn’t complain of cramps anymore either. I don’t know if you want to do anything as drastic as an ablation or hysterectomy. I had an ablation and it is the most wonderful thing in the world however I was finished having my children. If you are finished having children and you’re OK with that then I would say go that way but this medication works and it was a game changer for my daughter.

Make sure you are staying hydrated. That will help with some of it, but hopefully the doctor can help figure out what’s going on.

I have no idea. I was very blessed to not have that problem. I never even had hot flashed. My GYN TOLD ME NOT TO SHARE THAT WITH MY GIRL FRIENDS. Some of my friends and other family members suffered immensely. I do not know why the difference,

A warm hot water bottle on your belly and a couple of Tylenol’s.

You’re pushing too hard with your ink pen

I heard that magnesium helps, until you see doctors

Walmart sells a medicine called restless legs I take them and they help a lot

Do u take aspirin or anything with aspirin in it …it thins yr blood make for heavy flow. Warm bath or shower may help…I put heating pad on my belly.

Peppermint oil helps with restless legs

Keep your legs elevated and heating pad for the pains always worked for me good luck

Quinine water helped my late husband with his restless legs - you can also buy pills to put under your tongue ( called leg/cramp pills at Rite Aid Pharmacy )- like Nitro, which I like better and use for Charlie/Horses in my legs. See your Doctor about your heavy periods and other problems. The Military use to give the Quinine pills to all Military that served in certain areas of the world.

I see a chiropractor and the difference it has made. I go in a few days before I bleed and have them align my hips. Its heaven.

My daughter at 23 saw 5 gynis before being diagnosed with endometriosis that had left uterus on her bowls!! Noone listened to hear told her she was to young for the symptoms she reported heavy bleeding and severe pain. Don stop till you get answers a scope is the best way to diagnose

I had the exact same problem. After my last kid I got fixed, then I had hydrothermal ablation done because I was hemorrhaging every time I had my period.

I had the exact symptoms, I was diagnosed with adenomyosis.

Download a period tracking app with the ability to make notes if you haven’t already and document what symptoms you are having and when they start. If you are able to see your medical provider before your next period then it is still a good tool to track if the prescribed treatment is effective. The log gives more accurate information at your appointment or follow up appointment then to try to recall the information days or weeks later.

Age has a lot to do with this. I went thru the whole pain thing for a few years. Then it went away!:tada::confetti_ball:

I had terrible headaches second day of my period doctors just said it was hormones

Heating pads and midol… speak to your doctor and tell her all your symptoms.

Dont let anyone tell you they arent related. Some conditions like endometriosis can cause symptoms that mimic IBS and fatigue and painful sex etc.

So any symptoms tell your doctor because I was misdiagnosed for the longest time because I only told certain drs about certain symptoms and it was all due to the endometriosis… but no one put it together because I didnt tell my obgyn.

Good luck…

I had a dr tell me once when she has a day full of surgeries she takes Advil to lighten her cycle flow and it works

I have fibroids the size of grapefruits plus I take blood thinners. I have periods that last 20-30 days every other month. Blood clots the size of my fist. And I always have to get blood transfusions every time. Dr put me on pills to stop the bleeding and I will be taking shots to shut down my ovaries, hopefully it will help.

I have pain when ovulating, but not for that many days, and now that I’m older I don’t have pain that often.

Hyland’s makes Leg Cramp pills and also some for Restless legs they are in the vitamin aisle cheapest at Walmart

Premenopausal or while menopause will cause these feeling
However I still get from time to time leg problems n night sweats

N menopause’s 48 I’m 64 now

I had Endometriosis I ended up having a hysterectomy. I was 50 years old.

Those of you with Endometriosis did your belly swell like u was Prego. And did it cause you not to be able to suck your stomach in. My belly is swelled up like I’m Prego. I have a hard time losing weight. My legs and feet swell and they hurt. My periods is pretty heavy I almost have to put two pads in my underwear.

I had endometriosis before my children they told me i wasnt going to have children at the of 19years old and i did 3 beautiful children im 44years old now and have no problems with my period so definitely see a gyno you may have the same xx

My daughter ended up having surgery. It helped. No clue what fir

My doctor reccomended 800 mg of ibuprofen the moment i started and to take it 3 x’s a day for 5 days. Initially i was surprised cause many of us believe that that would make our periods heavier. However that is a myth. It really does slow it down and shortens the cycle. I took 800 the first day (twice a day) then 600mg the rest of the days cause i worry about my liver.

Go in to your obgyn. Birth control helped me and my daughter. We went from horribly heavy to not at all.

Pray for menopause, woman! Just pray for menopause!! Seriously, going through menopause wasn’t a picnic but after menopause is. LOL

I had very painful cycles and not to be gross, but liver like clots that would fill the palm of your hand…the first two days I wanted to be in the fetal position…I had been toying with the idea of juicing (carrots, specifically)…got a Champion juicer, and lots of organic carrots (it takes 5 lbs to make a quart). In ONE MONTH’s time, I went from the painful situation described above, to no clots and a dull ache in the low abdomen…my miracle!!! Drinking lots of water may help too…but an emphasis on raw fruits and veggies will definitely help.

I had same thing called abdominisa (basically blood filling up the lining of the uterus). Uterus was 3 times the size it should of been. Took them a year to find it out after inserting a camera through belly button. Gyn numbed me on day 2 of my period. I was out of pain for hours. Hysterectomy was next since I already had 2 kids. I have a scar from hip to hip. They wanted to make sure I didn’t have endometriosis. My periods was heavy and alot of pain.

Talk to your gyno… everyone and everybody is different I had this issue it was a combo of issues fibroids and cyst

endometriosis can be the culprit for sure. There may Several other factors involved or not that at all so yes seek different dr,opinions or go to a gyn clinical practice where there are several drs. nps . Good luck. Sure to find the problem!

Restless legs drink tonic water before you go to bed. It has quinine in it and works like a charm.

I had very heavy periods most my life. Finally, I had a hysterectomy and my uterus was the size of a football filled with fibroids

Please be careful with long term ibuprofen use it can and will damage your kidneys more so than the liver. Very first question out of my husband’s kidney doctor was do you use ibuprofen if you do you need to not be using anymore. There are many reasons we have heavy periods, excessive bleeding and anemia. Finding the right doctor who is willing to listen to you and your concerns is very important. They have changed their views on doing total hysterectomy procedures in the last few years.

Be careful with using Advil. It raises my blood pressure. I had a gynecologist send me to the ER because she told me to take 3 Advil before having some polyps snipped. It raised my blood pressure and she was concerned. It took me a years to figure out the correlation. I can no longer take any nsaids.

Try elevate your legs and put a ice pack on them. I take gabapentine that helps the most but since I doubt you have that the ice pack helps when I don’t wanna take meds

I take prenetal pills and it helps a lot I don’t even notice when my cycle is suppose to start
