What is an appropriate age for my daughter to get her eyebrows done?

Do NOT ever tell her to shave her upper lip. She’ll end up with stubble. Waxing for everything is better.

When she brings it up and is uncomfortable with it is the time to start taking care of it

Omg do not shave her upper lip!! It will grow back darker and fuller  by the time she’s 18 her hair follicles will be large like mens. Take her to a shop and have them wax both areas. Buy her a kit she can use at home but please do not shave it.

If she’s old enough to be bothered by it, she’s old enough to want to do something about it. Respect her feelings, mama and help your daughter out.

the best answers include a recommendation to see a doctor first to check for PCOS or other hormonal imbalance. then remove the hair some kind of way; they usually say no to shaving girl faces tho’.

Bleach it. Don’t do plucking or waxing, it makes it thicker when you do that. It has taken 2 year to get my upper lip hair to thin back out after having it waxed once

Girls can be very mean at that age! And boys! Dont give them a reason to be mean. Id let her do it! ( may be silly question but why not wax?) Also i have a little battery powered trimmer for face hair that works great!

Eyebrow trimmer ? You can pick up the Veet precise trimmer, l brought got myself and my 13 yr old daughter has started using it, they are safe and can be used just to tidy the eyebrows up under supervision .
As for any bullying or name calling tell your daughter to stick 2 fingers up and give them the death stare!
Dont let nobody dictate to your daughter how she should look .

As long as its HER choice then I see nothing wrong with it.

I got my eyebrows waxed at 10-11years old. Was going to an electrolysis from 12-13 to finally get majority under control & then was able to go back to waxing. I’m 30 now and finally within the last 10 years there are very few areas I have to pluck every day. Gotta love getting your dads eyebrows :joy:

Now my sons get thiers done

Threading is the best. The hair will thin out with time and it is fast and the precision is insane.

take her to get her brows done, then she’ll be able to see where hair is coming in outside that line and tweeze

I’m sorry that your daughter is being treated like that. :pensive: I dyed the hair on my upper lip at that age. Switched to waxing at 14.

Well, I’m comment number 322, and by now you must see that the polls are 99% yes let her handle the undesired hair. Do the research together to see what’s best and let her decide! She’ll thank you immediately I’m sure of it. :+1:
