I work in labor and delivery and we have a doctor who is pregnant at 43 and I see it a good bit:)

My mum just had my little brother at 40 and the age gap between my youngest sister and my brother is 16.5 years.
Not as hopeless as you think. I know a lot of people in their mud 40s that got pregnant

My grandma had my TWIN aunts at 43. Got pregnant with #6 & got a bonus baby 
(identical). My oldest uncle was 19 and in college and my dad (& mom-h.s sweethearts) were Seniors in high school. 
. There are 10 years between my youngest uncle and the twins.

Have the testing done to see if you have the chance of having a child with health issues. Then you have a heads up about what you might have to get through in the future.And are you prepared to have a child at home in school till you’re 61 or older? If something happens to you an such. Good luck with what ever you choose.

You’re chances are pretty good! As long as you’re eating well and no health concerns. It is possible it may take just a little time to get pregnant. Chances of twins are higher with that age as well.

My mom had me when she was 38. I came out fine! I will say, it was very tough growing up. It wasn’t common back then to have older parents. And they had a lot of health issues as I was growing up. My dad passed away when I was 27 and my mom passed away last year (I’m 38 but was 37 when she passed). Everyone thought that my parents were my grandparents. I want a third child so bad. I’m now 38 and although it’s a lot more common now, I don’t wanna leave them whenever they may need me the most in their mid-20s or 30s. Like helping out with their children and what not.
