I’d say 16-20 weeks… start with diapers, wipes , until gender reveal

I wanted to start stocking up right after the 12 week mark but all this COVId crap happened. I at least wanted to start a stash of diapers and then start the clothes when we found out the gender. Well nothing got accomplished til I was 30 weeks in. Starting with the , diapers, car seat, crib etc may be a good idea
We started putting money aside around our 5 month mark. We waited until after our shower to buy anything we were missing.
We waited until 4 months because it was past the greatest chance of miscarriage.

I was 16wks and once I knew what I was having. I’m pregnant with my 6th.
I started small at 14 weeks now 26 weeks and I only need bottles and sterilizer and I’m done
I started as soon as we learned the gender at 12 weeks
6 months .but buy diapers now
I started buying bits early on but big things like pram etc I got around 6 months.
2nd trimester, but you buy when you want to.
6 months is fair. 12 weeks is super early…no?

I would start buying after 25 weeks! I know it’s hard and it’s fun buying baby things but having had two pregnancies end at 22 weeks and both babies didn’t make it, it sucks having the stuff laying around reminding you of something you no longer have. I just didn’t want to jinx myself!

I was the same, super excited and happy, so I brought 1 outfit about 12 weeks just to tide me over, and suppress my desire to buy everything lol. But then waited until after his gender scan for the rest xx
When my preferred local children’s consignment sale went off. I ain’t paying full price for baby stuff! lol

You can defo start now. There is so much to get you should start now so you are not under pressure when you are 6 months
I bought one outfit when I found out. Then I bought one more after I found out the sex. Then I waited until about 6-7 months.
My mom said that its considered bad luck(in our family tradition )to buy now when you are still so early.
Once I got to know the gender, men, it started raining pink. Couldn’t stop shopping

I’m superstitious. Most things were bought in the last eight weeks and pram wasn’t allowed (by my Dad!) in the house until after baby was born.

*Create a registry on Amazon for the big stuff, sign up for freebies, samples, go to target, buy buy baby they have free goodie bags. Amazon I have found is generally less expensive for big items, walmart clearence rack for clothes, buynothing group.
Things you will need immediately like diapers, crib, carseat, stroller, carrier.
*As you go further along in your pregnancy and after you find out gender then it will all start coming together.

I started a month before… but I had pregnancy issues and didn’t want the stuff if something went wrong

Everything else after my baby showers which I was blessed to have great friends who threw multiples for each of my 5 kids.

I knew I was having a big baby shower, so I waited to buy most things. But the nursery I wanted to do on my own. I spent my whole pregnancy taking my time picking out the perfect items for her room and it definitely was nice when nesting and wanting to have fun buying baby items 
Probably gonna go against the general opinion here but whenever you want to. People go on about waiting til you’re in the safe zone etc but after having lost my son at 2 days old after being born at 38 weeks that’s just an illusion. Yes it’s not nice being surrounded by baby stuff after a loss but if Id waited with my rainbow baby until I felt it was safe she wouldn’t have had a thing when she was born. Think positive and start preparing for your little one any time you feel like you want to whether it be 6 weeks or 30 weeks. x

It honestly is better to be prepared for baby when he/she arrives. I started buying as soon as I found out the gender, but I only bought the necessities.
I just knew I was having a girl so at 7 weeks I bought clothes lol and at 12 weeks my pram. The gender scan at 16 weeks revealed I was right about the gender lol
It is best to buy early the little one might decide to come early
Started with both my boys before we knew the gender and after we found the genders we bought the boy clothes…
