Not personally but I know of situations where it has happened. Did he get the follow up check to make sure he surgery was successful? Sometimes it isn’t.

My friends dad had one done … didn’t go to his follow up checkup then BAM three years later she has a brother lol. it happens.

I’ve heard some people can

my ex sister in law got pregnant after her husband had a vasectomy so yes it is possible.

It’s def possible. It only takes one strong swimmer

Nope. Husband had one over 3yrs ago. Had his follow up and was all clear. No issues since.

Absolutely. Women who have had their tubes tied also get pregnant. If a baby wants to be a part of your family, they will find a way❤

The body’s soul purpose for existing is to reproduce. It happens. Take a test. If so it happens. Congrats. Life will find a way. Period.

My husband had one when he was with his first wife and thankfully his hasn’t failed yet

Yep me got pregnant a year and a half after it was done… We now have a year and a half year old… and yes he went after the procedure and was told he was sterile. Had to go to a fertility specialist his count was .006… so yes it’s possible…

Yep happened to a older couple their kids had all left the house and started college and along came a baby sibling lol looks just like dad so definitely wasn’t the product of a affair

Happens all the time.

He had to get a final check to make sure surgery was successful. My husband went back to make sure!!! I did not want any oopsies!

Yes! Here she is. My fiance got one 18 years ago. And tada! Here is our sweet girl! She is 7 months old now.

My husband and I were told when he received his that there is a possibility that everything can grow back. So most definitely it can happen.

I have a co worker who is pregnant after her husbands vasectomy years ago.

Yes. Nothing is 100% unfortunately not even tubal ligation or vasectomies. Vasectomies require follow up visits too. Plenty of women have vasectomy babies, not common but not unheard of. The first three months following a vasectomy are most likely though. How effective is vasectomy? | NICHD - Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development

I know someone who’s husband had a vasectomy and she ended up pregnant because it didn’t work.

My cousin just got his wife pregnant after one he had over a year ago. They can fail. 1 in 4,000 fail within the first five years.

Yes, I know someone that got pregnant by her husband after a vasectomy and it blew up big time. It was his baby. Imagine the conversations they had.

You can. Not probably but possible. Like a woman having an IUD

it happens i know someone that her hubby went back got checked and all was good and she ended up pregnant 4 years later with twins and her tubes were tied aswell, he thought she cheated so dr did parenity test at his expense and i geuss god just wanted them to have those babies and now they are going on 2

It happens all the time

It can correct itself

It can happen with men and it can happen with women when they have there tubes tied

They don’t guarantee it after 10 years that’s what the doctors told my ex-husband but I never got pregnant

My stepbrothers mom got pregnant not once but twice after her husband had a vasectomy. And yes they were both his kids, they did paternity tests.

:tipping_hand_woman: My husbands failed after 5 years. We came home from a vacation and I thought I had ebola cause I knew it couldn’t be pregnancy. He has since had another vasectomy and we now have a third son.

My husband had one and we were told it didnt work. so he had a second. They told us it worked 7 months later we were pregnant. And was told it didnt work for his third one we picked a diffrent doctor lol

A friend of mine had that happen. Her husband didnt believe her. Was rough for a while

I’ve heard of this happening, especially if/when the man doesn’t send in a sample in the “x” amount of days after the procedure. (My husband happens to be one these men that never sent their sample in after the fact, I’m hoping it took, cause pregnancy takes a toll on me, like hospitalized for almost a month between 1st n 2nd trimesters both times

My godfather had one and 2 yrs later my God mother ended up pregnant he went to 3 Dr’s and they all said it reversed itself

We did. 3 years later.

“I think I’m pregnant”
You either are or you’re not. Take a damn test FFS.

Nothing is 100% .even woman with tubal ligation can get pregnant

It can. Easiest way is to get his sperm count done again.

I did. And I was taking birth control.

The day my ex husband was deemed infertile, I got a positive pregnancy test for my 3rd child…turned out to be a Blessing of course!

My OBGYN and my PC said it can happen. My husband had one 3 years ago but I’m always nervous we will get pregnant again. It’s not 100% effective so it can happen.

They can reverse themselves Yes.

Yep, we have a family member that this happened to!

I’m 35 and I know someone a few years younger then me who was conceived AFTER his dad had one. Unless you had a hysterectomy, nothing is 100%

Did he go to all the check ups? Because the checkups are to make sure it worked and if he missed one and his tubes grew back together then…:woman_shrugging:t2:

If you don’t get the test to see if he’s sterile it’s possible

It happens all the time. Especially if the man doesn’t do everything he’s supposed to after surgery.

So I’d make an appointment for him, and then let the dr. Tell him! Lol

Nothing is 100%. You can still get pregnant after a vasectomy.

Do a dna if he doubts.

My husband had a vestomy before me but we got it reversed and in 3 months we got pregnant but the doctor that done his says that not all vestomy work, not all reversals work. They can come undone after 7 years just like a womans can. He may need to go get checked . So it dont damage him if it did. Maybe start there

I had a baby after a tubal ligation :woman_shrugging: its ALWAYS possible no matter how unlikely

I got pregnant after having my tubes tied…

It’s rare but it does happen. Most men dont care to keep up with the check up to see if the vasec is still successful

Have you taken a test I’ve got endometriosis can resemble pregnancy symptoms

Yes. It’s rare but they do come undone. Your suppose to go in every 5 years I think and have your sperm tested to make sure it is still good. Just like your tubes can come untied and you can get pregnant again. My husbands friend just had that happen.

I would go to doctors and get blood test,

I got pregnant 9 years after my husband had one. It can happen!

Yes, about 11 years after the procedure. His dr told him back we he first had it done that he needed to be checked often. But he didn’t and we now have an 8 years old that I wouldn’t trade for the world!

My husbands first one didn’t take, 364 days later he decides to have the 2nd , successful one! Lol!

Maybe he pulled a Kevin ball … and yall just got lucky until now :joy: lol I have no advice. Sorry

It’s fairly common for that to happen actually.

Yes. But not unexpectedly. We did through extraction and IVF. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes!! 6 months after my husband got his first. I got prego with our last baby. Second one seems to be holding up :joy::joy:

Are you sure it’s not menopause/ peri menopause?

It happens very often, more than you would think.

I know someone who’s husband had 2 of them and she still got pregnant after each one… poor souls :joy:

I know a few people who have gotten pregnant after, it’s possible!

Yes it can happen, women can also get pregnant after having tubes tied.

My youngest sister is a post vasectomy baby

Every year that passes after a vasectomy, there is an increase chance of pregnancy

It happens. They heal sometimes. It’s a small chance. But yes it can happen.

You’re supposed to get those checked like a year to every couple years to make sure it’s still good. So yes. You could be pregnant and his shit came undone.

Nicole Jenkins I believe did :slightly_smiling_face:

I know a lady who was sterilised and fell pregnant almost 3years later :grimacing::exploding_head:🤷 #ifitsmeanttobeitsmeanttobe

A coworker got pregnant 8 years after her husband vasectomy. Did your husband have his sperm counts checked post procedure? A lot of people skip this and then later get pregnant.

Just take a test…some of these questions i just want to be like here pee on stick!

Definitely possible.
No vasectomy is 100% effective every time. Most preventive ways have even a slight risk unless you’re practicing abstinence/ celibacy.

My husband had to have a 2nd one, the first one did not take :woman_shrugging:t3: too common…

It does happen. The doctors should have told you guys that it could happen

I know two people this has happened to!

It is possible for them to heal themselves after so long. Take a few tests over the next few weeks

He can still get you pregnant. My husband just had his done last month and the doctor say is 5% or 10% he can still get me pregnant

A friend of mine’s ex husband had a vasectomy while they were still together. They never had children together, but years after their divorce he found out that for some reason something with his vasectomy went wrong and he was still able to have children.

I’m letting my husband know that he will need to checkups every so many years, we don’t want anymore!

My third baby was a surprise. Father had a vasectomy 6yrs prior.
It’s definitely possible!

Work in L&D and YES it can happen. We had a patient who had her tubes tied and husband had a vasectomy. Guess what? Welcome baby #7 Talk about a shocker :joy:

Look up recanalization.

Just to offer aother possible explanation, perhaps your husband infact had the affair, possibly with another male whom did not have a vasectomy, now if during that exchange his male lover ended up producing onto your husbands member, your husband than could have had live sperm on his member. Perhaps this was a first time occurrence and your husband rushed home and felt a need to prove to himself he is in fact stright by passionately bedding you not 15 minutes later, you would in fact become pregnant as sperm can live for 20 minutes once ejected from the body. I would speak to your husband.

I know someone who was allowed to have a voluntary hysterectomy after getting pregnant on the pill, then again with an IUD, then again after her husband’s vasectomy and then again after having her tubes tied. We all thought she was making it up but she ended up having a hysterectomy and getting a ton of free stuff from Pampers after going on the local news… So I guess anything is possible!

My sister in law did . He husband had double ducts and did know it .

When I was pregnant last a woman who was also expecting was having her 3rd after her hubby had 3 vasectomies

She got sterilised after that!

They are not 100%
Have his sperm count tested through your OB/GYN’s office or have him go back to doc that did his procedure and be tested. They’ll tell him what’s what.

My brother in law was conceived after my father in law had a vasectomy.

Yump so so we go on right

Swimmers need to be tested every so many years. They’re not a 100% and that would have been in the paperwork he signed. And the doctor would have mentioned that.

You think you’re pregnant or you know you’re pregnant?

Should really find out if you are before assuming anything
