I had 3 of my kids earlym 36wks, 37 wks, and 35 wks. None of them needed NICU.
I had gestational diabetes with all 4 of mine and my oldest was at 40 weeks and my last 3 was at 39 weeks and 2 days

Babies born full term can also need NICU. My last child was born full term but was in the ICU for a few days because she had severe jaundice.
As long as they can eat on there own and breath you wont need nicu

I had gestational diabetes with both pregnancies. I was induced at 36 weeks with my first, and my water broke at 36 weeks with my second. Both babies were perfectly healthy. No problems latching, no jaundice, good sugars, healthy weights. Just a 4-day stay for me because both were c-section births.

I would not be induced that earlyā¦ 38 week minimum but not at all unless their is a valid medical threat to u and ur babys health. If ur condition is controlled waiting wont hurt but could make all the difference
Yes 37weeks is classed at full term so if nothing is wrong you will get home. I had my 36weeks 31weeks and 38weeks

37 weeks at least for my dr is considered full term. It may just be something that has gone on in your pregnancy specifically where they just want to monitor the baby.
The just induced me at 37w and my daughter was born 5lb 11oz she has a little trouble latching but I use a nipple shield and she has no problem feeding

No because they use to induce around 36 . There lungs are fully developed at that point. My son was full term and had to be put in nicu.
