Give yourself more time. And use birth control. You don’t want to show up for your 6 week postpartum visit and find out you are pregnant.

I didnt wait long when I went in for my 6 weeks check up I was pregnant again.
You should be pretty busy with the baby… Are you really in that big of a hurry to have sex?

The docs say six weeks I think, but I was young when I had my cubs so I did the deed as soon as I got home from the hospital. Naughty girl.
My husband wouldnt wait at all.No instructions were given to me either
They use to say 6 weeks to help your internals to settle back in and to avoid any infections

6-12 weeks depending on your type off birth, complications or not so definitely get checked out before… I couldn’t have sex for 11 weeks after my first I grazed so bad 
40 days is what I was told.
This should be addressed with OB doc…… he knows pertinent info about your L&D experience which could impact resumption of intimacy.

When your ready dear one not your man. Be careful you can fall pregnant just after as well. Good luck.
It’s up to you if you want to follow what your doctor says. If 6 weeks feels too long and you’re ready….go for it. But if he’s patiently waiting, let him continue to wait…:but if he’s down with whatever you want…it’s your body. You’re not the first to not to wait 6 weeks and you won’t be the last bit to wait. I had a c-section with my first and was ready to do it all after 4 weeks.
Yay for your husband. A few more weeks won’t hurt anyone, in fact it may just be better.

My gynecologist recommended six werks so you can heal inside.
This is something you should discuss with your obgyn Dr. not on Facebook !!!
6 Wks was the advice I Was Given .
Your supposed to wait 4-8 weeks . Your body need time to heal.
I don’t know why so many women look to Facebook for answers to medical questions. I will say the same thing I say on so many of them.

Nurse with 5 kids of my own here … 6 to 8 weeks is medical standard. Get doctors ok. If your nursing and not back on the pill, use protection. Nursing does not prevent pregnancy. Reduced ovalation but not at all impossible. Start out slow, esp if you had stitches. Normally takes the body 18 months to 2 years to recover fully. It’s been through a lot. If he gets ancey, there are always other ‘games’ to fill the time.

Talk to your doctor . Your insides have not healed . You need to see your doctor before anything takes place .

First time after baby is born regardless feels like your humping a tree trunk give it time and let yourself heal completely

The time frame that is recommended is how long you should wait… you may feel fine but you are not healed inside and it can cause some terrible infections.
I waited till I went in for the after appt for me with the ob. So I believe it was about 6 weeks

Wait the Full 6 Weeks!! Even though you are “Feeling Fine” you are NOT FINE Inside. Believe me. I had tearing down there when I did not wait. Those extra 2-3 weeks MATTER. Just try to keep things very clean and keep applying the salve or whatever they gave you. It helps heal it very well and you won’t have any issues. But…. Please WAIT
