My baby is now one year old and wakes up twice through the night, once at two and again at 5 am. Since he was three months old, my husband took over the night feeds(he said I stayed up endless nights with our now 2-year-old, so it was his turn). Anyways next thing you know, I just stopped hearing my baby cry at night, and he and his dad have such a great bond. I feel like I lost some sort of connection, and I try so hard to do everything to wake up and help at night, but I just don’t hear a thing the minute I’m asleep now… ladies, any ideas or suggestions? Has this ever happened to anyone??
None of my 3 slept through the entire night at 1… at least not often… one didn’t sleep through the night until he was past his 2nd birthday. You don’t hear it because you know your child is taken care of and that is okay. I still wake up if I hear a baby cry, my other half wouldn’t wake up for the apocalypse or WWIII, sleeps through earthquakes and ringing phones…
