Maybe ur not getting all of it if it keeps coming back. I would ask dr for something
I put lice shampoo in my kids regular shampoo, it’s not fun, getting it over and over again! My daughter was mine, who kept bringing it home! You have to treat, stuffed animals, carpets, and bedding, and mattress, box springs, all at the same time!
Notify the school and she if they will do a Head search and get to the one that is transferring lice.
Listarine dumped on heads! Guaranteed
Are any children staying over night with her and sharing her bed? If so that’s where she is getting it.
You need to get a metal lice comb and remove one by one. Put them in a tissue and burn them. This daily until she runs out. Then every 3-5 days until they’re certainly gone. No oil/shampoo/spray will get rid of them without the comb. Peine eliminador de piojos Nit Free https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HIBPV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_VQRF1WAYZJ7NHZY58W1Q
Make sure you treat EVERYTHING… furniture, coats, hats, clothes and your car and car seats along with EVERYONE in the house and their belongings. Don’t forget stuffed animal and toys
Talk to their Dr. about a product called sclice. I have heard wonderful things about it in reaccuring cases. Good luck.
Look up “The Lice Nanny” South lyon, MI. She was honest and did an awwwmazing job. If you don’t live close, she does have the best at home kits on her website to order. I had a similar experience with my daughter and haven’t had any since her treatment.
Went through the same. My bf used Peanut Butter on our daughters hair, and it worked I didn’t think it would but it did
You must wash bedding, and dry in dryer, and put all stuffed animals cushions pillows etc in garbage babe tied for 2 weeks, vacuum bedding couches chairs etc as well as treating hair and knit picking
Cooking oil or mayo look up home remedies on how to get rid of head lice
Bornax at the drugstore. It’s mainly for head lice wash the child’s hair and everyone else’s in the house. Keep hair in towels for 1 day, that way nothing escapes. Rinse all out in the morning then go threw hair with a fine tooth comb. If u find any that r still alive repeat again. Wash all bedclothes caps that wore in scalding hot water and dry in dryer.
You have to suffocate them with Mayo or Vaseline because they breath out of both ends so once you plug them up and comb them out I would do the treatments after that and keep combing until they’re all gone
Go get it professionally done! It can be pricy but worth it! And they give you after care items as well
Check the car seat she uses.
Is there a pet bird in the room?
Tea tree oil. We had same issue when my girls were younger.
Mix Tea tree oil in conditioner and do a conditioning treatment on hair. Works amazing and hair is soft.
Also put a few drops in shampoo and conditioner. It will help keep it from coming back.
Have you notified the school? If shes continually getting it from school it sounds like they need to take steps as well. The school can discreetly check children and contact those parents. That way all of the kids can be taken care of. They also need to steam the carpets.
Soak her head in white vinegar and comb through with a metal lice comb 2 -3 time a day til it comes out clear
Sounds like might be sharing a locker with a friend(s) or something could be a hat, hair brush, clothing. If all her friends don’t get treated for lice you’ll keep getting it back
Start with coconut shampoo. Then raise hell at school and have them figure out who it is that is not cleaning it up and passing those nasty critters around. If the source is not shut down the problem will never get solved.
If the kids at school have them she will get them keep up the hard work
I used a natural mouse product found at Walmart. It worked wonders. Use it every time she gets it. It will eventually stop.
You have to get a wire lice comb order it online you have to every day after showering with the lice shampoo put out a white sheet like bed sheet in the floor sit with them one by one and comb the lice out every day it takes time and u wont finish in one day but they will all come out eventually use the comb and with your hands take out the lice eggs and pop them where ever you see one check all the hair all the areas you can you have to do it every day or the lice that are left in there will keep putting more in the hair it will take time and you will feel stressed but you have to do it otherwise they keep coming back
I would comb thru ever inch of her hair and actually cut out the eggs. Alot of work, but if u don’t remove the eggs, they will always be there.
Thank you Mrs Lisa Jennifer I don`t believe I can be a owner of such amount in this cashless period thank you a lot for saving my life Your work speaks volumes of the kind of woman you are thank you so much for the profit
Lisa Jennifer
Never had it but I’ve watched videos and they use a fine tooth comb to comb them out
Essential oil eucalyptus mixed I. With regular shampoo will keep them away.
Just wash n put alot of conditioner in her hair & comb through with a lice comb, than just rinse is out. U can do it more than those lice treatments. Plus, her hair will be clean n conditioned. Good luck. Wash blankets in hot water & put pillows stuffed animals in trash bags lice can only survive 24 hrs without blood. Vacuum furniture & mattress. Start braiding hair when she goes to school.
Your child is getting to close to the child that has them .call the school and tell them that your child keeps coming home with them .other than that you have to check her hair every single day as soon as she gets home
Treat every 5days even if you don’t see them. Do it about 5 times. Then, CUT her hair.
I saw good comments about Lisa Jennifer on how she helps people,so I decided to contact her and I’m glad I did Your work speaks volumes of the kind of woman you are thank you so much for the profit
Lisa Jennifer
My daughter was constantly catching lice , the best thing I found to use was coating her hair in mayonaise and put a plastic bag on her head for a few hours, wash it out and comb it Comb them out for 7 days straight. And I stopped washing her hair everyday and she hasn’t caught it in a few years and hopefully wont again
You just have to keep treating her and the house for it. If this keeps happening, you should contact the school so they can check her classmates for it. Otherwise, it’ll just keep happening. I dealt with this last school year with my daughter.
Don’t forget to wash her bedding and blankets and pillows. Put everything in the washer and dryer that will fit. Vacuum the couches and floors. They have sprays for couches if they’re cloth.
Comb through her hair with a lice comb every day after her bath/shower. Make sure she not sharing jackets/sweaters or hats or hair ties.
mayo sit rinse repeat
LiceSquad.com this product works wonders. Used it once,no harmful chemicals, its natural based products these will definitely kill the eggs and louse
It won’t go away until you get rid of the eggs. I always got it from my step siblings. Their mother would only treat their hair with mayonnaise and never get rid of the eggs. Once the eggs hatched, they had lice again (a given). You must treat, get rid of the eggs, repeat. Always check for eggs randomly as well just in case.
Tell her teachers about the issue who should then send a letter too all parents.
This happened to my daughter all throughout kindergarten. We changed schools by the time 1st grade started and she hasn’t had it since. I would always coat her hair in olive oil and coconut oil. If I didn’t have that I’d use mayonnaise. Plastic wrap her hair , put a plastic bag over that or a shower cap and leave it over night. Comb it out, then wash hair, condition and while conditioner is in hair comb out again and make sure you’re doing small sections at a time. I used tea tree oil shampoo and added a little more tea tree oil. Hair up in tight buns and lots of hair spray for school was a big thing too! Lice can easily cling to clean loose hair. Treat everything in house. I hope you get rid of it for good!
There’s a fairy tales brand lice repellent spray. I hear a lot of good things about it.
I would skip the treatments and look for a professional if she continues getting it. If she is constantly getting it, it isn’t fully going away
Use coconut shampoo, they don’t like it
Only NIX works…do every one in the house…throw out old combs and brushes…spray bedding an furniture with Adams flea spray
Even do the stuff animal and toys that are on the bed, hats , what ever her head touches, the head rest in the car… everything… it sucks
Fairy Tales leave in conditioner. It’s a lice repellent. I am a hairdresser and it was a top seller at a salon I worked at catered to kids. I also used it on my daughter every day from Kindergarten to high school and not once did she catch lice when there was an outbreak at school. Also using products such as gel, mousse and hairspray will help. Lice like clean hair . I also do not recommend using Nix or Rid, they have pesticides in them. Fairly Tales also has a lice kit that is not harmful.
@FairyTalesHairCare
We tried everything and nothing worked because the child at school who was passing it around was never checked therefore never treated.the nurse at our school said she checks randomly.WHAAAAT!!!SHE WAS REPORTED TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH AND LOST HER JOB.GOTTA CHECK EVERY KID IN THE ROOM
Are you cleaning everything at home? Pillows blankets toys bedsheets mattress couch chair hair brushes catseats? Iam an infant toddler teacher we had a child who had lice every week and mom kept saying it was from school this child was the only one in the building who had it.
And dont forget to treat everybody in the house
Sweetie- she is getting them from school. All you can do is put her hair up - unfortunately kids play together, the school doesn’t treat the rooms and/ or the desk/tables. We use coconut oil and a fine comb. You might be it to the school’s attention.
When I was a youngyin my grandma colored my hair and it killed them off, she had gotten all the treatments she can find and I kept getting it or couldn’t get rid of it she ended up throwing everything out and then coloring my hair the same color I already was and I didn’t get them again and they were gone
None of the over the counter treatments work nor do the rx’s. It’s just the combing for both that’s effective. Lice clinics of America is the only place that has fda approved heat treatments with a guarantee to get rid of lice within an hour. I used to work there. Also dying hair does nothing but dye the lice. Even bleach. Fairy tales is just a preventative it does not treat lice.
Our vet said to use flea and tick for dogs. It kills them dead. You will only need to leave it on for a couple minutes but it does the trick.
Tell school to check heads…use hair dryer every night
I use this fairytale shampoo and conditioner I bought at Walmart and it works wonders! Also throw everything that could get infected by them in trash bags and go to the laundry mat to help clean everything
Putting tea tree oil in your conditioner can help prevent it in the first place.
There use to be a shampoo you had to get prescription for called kwell. It work with one use. Its Been years since I had that shampoo. You cab ask
Safe for people works great. It’s about $20 from health department. It has no pesticides.
Another trick comb olive oils thru child’s hair, put on a shower cap and leave it for several hours. Comb hair out, wash . (I used dawn to get oil out)
Make sure you are combing hair with a metal lice comb from drug store, the plastic ones break.
Remember the little buggers are resilient, you will have to stay at it for a good month, if you miss one egg and it hatched, you will have a continual cycle.
Tea tree oil will help, as well as peppermint oil. Bugs don’t like the smell and oil will kill them because they “breathe” through holes in their exoskeleton.
I’ve heard of people using dog flea shampoo etc remember they have chemicals and your child’s skin will absorb chemicals.
Make sure you bag anything you can’t wash, wash everything possible, also do curtains, clean rugs, car seats etc. Don’t forget to wash child’s bedding and pillows.
Good luck it’s a battle!
This is what the professionals use. It smells wonderful and is guaranteed to work. The repellant keeps them away, and she will need to keep her hair pulled up in a ponytail for a few weeks at school.
I put tea tree oil in my shampoo we use it like once a week not all the time but no lice it works
Mayonnaise works really good
Spray her hair with vinegar then comb it through have her take a shower after. Do that every night and put pillowcase in dryer on high heat every morning… It saved me alot of money. We tried alot things
Replace the bedding and mattress
Walmart and Walgreens carry with prevention spray!
Also pure romance sells an oil called ‘miracle oil’ you can add a few drops to her shampoo or conditioner to help prevent it! It really works!!
Use with thick conditioner (wipe on paper towel) every couple of days. The spiral on each tooth is designed to catch eggs before they hatch and break the cycle. Conditioner won’t dry ends out like chemicals do
Like the above comment said, conditioner and a metal nit comb, then rinse and blow dry. Take her outside in the natural sunlight to check for any missed nits. Wash everything!! Tea tree oil and ponytails help but remind her not to share jackets, brushes, and hair ties at school. Good luck!
Talk to the school someone she is playing with must begivien it back to her
A HUGE factor that helped my sisters and I when we got it was use heat. If you can afford to use a blow dryer and straightening iron on your hair after lice treatment, it works so well. They need a certain temperature to sustain life, anything below or above will kill them. Using heat killed them off in a few days.
Treat the car/ car seat.
Make sure clothes pillows stuffed furniture stuffesmd animals get cleaned too. Braids hair pulled back. Lots of hair spray.aaj the school to Allow her to keep her coat on her chair OR ALL students go in separate garbage bags. Even
Coats and mittens can carry these
She’s Ng it somewhere and not lucky to have resilience. Good luck
Also by a bright window check daily. I’ve even heard of mayonnaise and shower caps
I herd use hair spray before they go to school
Mouthwash or mayonnaise along with a metal comb
I am from India. During my school days my doctor prescribed me a medicine called Perlice creame. It helped to clear lice issue at one rinse. BUT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING IT.
Lose the pride and contact everyone your children have came in contact with. Make the parents aware of the fact that your children have had lice and the adults work together to fix the problem.
Call the schools. Etc.
As a former foster parent I swear by this!!! I’ve not used a box treatment in about 10 yrs!
Best lice treatment! Hands down!
Use a straightening iron…you can actually hear the eggs pop
Have you taken her to a pediatrician? Once, my mom saw these things that looked like lice, but they ended up being a type of bird mites. They required a really strong prescription shampoo to rid of.
Pick it out by hand. Combs miss a lot. I had lice so much as a kid. The home remedies of mouthwash, mayonnaise, etc. didn’t work. I had to have a good insecticide shampoo. Anything that can’t be washed by can go in the dryer should on high heat for 30 minutes.
I had long thick hair all the way though school… my mom always used hair spray in my hair, never got it even when close friends had it… lice likes clean hair… style her hair wet and cake on the hair spray Even if friends have it they won’t stay they can’t live in it
I use baby oil. Just put the kiddos in the tub pour baby oil on their head and literally brush their hair. The lice can’t hold on they fall right out… down fall their hair is super oily for a while but works for us.
i believe they sell a specialsoap
I have 4 kids only one evet got it and alll the time from another class mate finally started using a flat iron in her hair paper thin strands…took a while cause she had long thick hair but it worked. I never used harsh chemicals or treatments again. Thankfully I only had to do this a handful of times before the problem finally was resolved.
And fyi…remember to wash their backpacks everyone does coats car seats bedding and everything else but usually forget the backpacks
I’m so excited now I can at least pay my bill and take good care of my family Thank you Mrs Lisa Jennifer for you have brought happiness to me and my family through your experiences in Cryptocurrency hit her dm on how to invest
The school should be notified so they send home the kids that have it and not to come back before it’s all gone. My school as a kid did this and worked well .
Also maybe dying her hair
would work killing them off
Use product in her hair. Once you do a RID kit -comb it through, strand by strand - start using a product. It can be gel or mousse or even leave in conditioner. Live like clean hair with no product - the product makes hair slippery and undesirable for a mating situation.
I suggest treating everyone in the house, regardless, and doing hers twice. Then, everybody use a product of choice to deter further infestations.
I used a special hair shampoo on my kids. Safe to use frequently because it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. It worked great. It also has a leave in cream that can be used every day. It recommends use before stuff like school, camps, sleepovers, ect.
Lice liking clean hair is a myth. They will make themselves right at home in dirty hair too. Texture doesn’t matter either. I would pack up her stuffed animals for three weeks. (Beats frequent cleaning of them.) Make sure bedding is washed daily. I’d also either wash her clothes daily or at least use garbage bags to hold any lice before washing in hot water and drying with high heat. Make sure to use a nit comb daily on her. I did twice a day with my kids boiling it after each use to kill any nits. And vacuum daily. I did furniture as soon as my kids left it. Then keep checking.
Rid works well or lice shield
Mayonnaise and wash and bag all bedding. Get a lice comb and get them out and dose them in bleach. The lice kits at the store work for the most part but the most important thing is bagging alllll the clothes and bedding she’s come in contact with
You can call her pediatrician and they can send in a prescription strength lice shampoo that works 100x better than anything you get over the counter
There is kits at Walgreens
They have lice Shampoo
Get tea tree oil shampoo to use or put it in your current shampoo.
Use RID, it takes a long time to comb the eggs from the hair after killing the lice. Wash all bedding, pillows, blankets in hot water. Vacuum and vacuum some more.
My grandma would use this or put tea tree oil in our hair and comb then out. You can also use mayo and a plastic back and heat it up and then comb them out.
Mayonnaise with a shower cap. Safer then the solutions.
Blue Listerine and vinegar. Soak head with Listerine and wrap in plastic for an hour. Rinse. Repeat with the vinegar and comb out. Spray house and wash everything you can on hot and dry on hot if you can.
I have not seen lice since I was like 6 yrs old.Im 35 now so where has the lice been all these years?
We have an actual place near us called Rapunzels Lice Boutique. You go in, they do all the work and guarantee the job. Best money I ever spent!
