Mayonnaise and a shower cap…and sit for as long as possible. Sitting in the sun while it’s on helps. I had the same problem as a kid, and never had them again after that.

They dont recommend it but raid bug spray you spray in their hair rub it in and then rinse out always worked wonders for anyone i ever knew that had it…but then you have spray all your furniture with it as well bag all stuffed animals for a week and wash all bedding an clothes in super hot water…

Green listerine, saturate the scalp and let sit under a shower cap for 90 minutes….rinse hair and towel dry. Then saturate the scalp and hair with white vinegar, and let sit for 90 minutes under shower cap….rinse towel dry and the nits and lice bodies will comb right out. And super cheap and works pert
U can also put some tea tree coditioner in spray bottle with water spray there hair around ears asnd back of kneck line every morning thats were they lay

Constant…Constant…Combing thru hair…treatment at least every two weeks…Washing bedding…have the girls keep their hair in a braid, or bun…spraying and vacuuming carpets…and like I said …constant combing …best to do it outside…but if you cant comb thru while taking a shower…make it apart of their daily routine…

I have used the lady bugs brand of lice removal. Use as directed then comb through. After you are done with that, coat hair heavily with mayo. Put on a shower cap and leave for a minimum of 2 hrs but overnight is best. Wash literally everything in hot water and dryer on highest it will go. Any stuffed animals place in a trash bag and leave for a minimum of ten days. Repeat hair methods after about a week. And continue till you get nothing out on the nit comb.

I’ve heard mayo suffocates them. Slather that is on and put a shower cap over and let sit for like an hour or so
First you need to take all pillows and blankets and put in dryer even stuffed animals. Vacuum there mattress and floors make sure you empty vacuum into garbage and take garbage can outside immediately.
You need to do this every day until there gone
You must take all combs and brushes take off hair and put in garbage bag out side immediately.
Treat with RC lice treatment . Must have nit hair combs from package .
I always used used nit comb in bathroom and put the hair in sink and took magnifying glass 
to make sure I got the nits .
Nit combs need to be sanitized just like combs and brushes. Need boiling water and dish soap every time you use
Hoodies , toques and hats need to go in dryer to kill the lice.
Also all linen used in bathroom needs to go in straight in plastic bag let it sit in basement or garage

You have several people in your house so the whole house furniture needs to be done vacuumed and all bedrooms all needs to be done everyday and mattress.
Pillows in dryer, blankets, sheets everyday.
You might need to do 2 treatments on all of you.
I was told do not use the same brand for the second treatment.
My daughter had to do 2 treatments very long hair.and I put her hair in pony tail and put it in bread bag and used a elastic band or hair tie at night and sprayed tea tree every day on her hair after I took nits out of hair. Also hair spray they hate so I would hair spray too to after taking comb through.
I did the same with my sons and buzzed the hair and it helped a lot . Tea tree helps a lot too after your treatment Don ‘t forget to put it on repels the lice they hate it.

Go to the clinic. Get each on a prescription for the hair. Use the whole tub on eaches hair rinse and comb thoroughly. Repeat combing every night or every other for a week. Also wash all bedding bag all stuffed animals shampoo carpets.
Use the lice products over the counter and follow the directions on the box. Wash and DRY hair over the next few days/weeks. The heat will help kill the lice too. It takes a couple of treatments so keep at it. Put up any stuffed animals in garbage bags and let them stay in there at least a week. They have to have live hosts to live on. Wash and dry all bedding and there’s spray to spray furniture and car upholstery. Good luck!
Lather hair in mayo and cover with a shower cap overnight. Wake up in the morning , wash hair and us nit comb thru hair. Make sure to wash all bedding and vacuum couches and everywhere else for that matter. Any like stuffed animal throw in the dryer on the hottest setting.

NATROBA, its a prescription but you do not even have to pull the nits, it disintegrates everything. Just wash the cloth items in the house.
Rid and over the counter does NOTHING.

treat the hair with the shampooer and the with a Hair dryer on the hottest level dry the hair out. Wash every single thing thats fabric. Pillows blankets couch pillows. Wash the hair every day for 3 to 5 days and do the hair dryer thing. My daughter’s brought it home last year and I got them it was horrible. Good luck.
Have you cleaned your house! Bedding and pillows washed ans dried high heat and there is a furniture and carpet spray to kill any there! Can take weeks too get control Just read above response !

Omg its a for ever process its takes time… parting the hair using a metal brush go through section by section and use conditioner any conditioner load it kn the sections use the lice brush again going in all directions as they lay their eggs on different angles wide the comb on paper towel and each section over and over again until you get no more nits out of that section then move onto the next section wait two days do it again
treat it, pick it and then flat iron the girls hair every day. they can’t stand the heat, it kills them. The process takes time but it works. As for the boys, I would shave their heads and call it a day. Good luck!
Spray everything you can’t fit into your washer and dryer (including any carpet) with rubbing alcohol. Make sure your windows are open when you do it and try to leave the house for a bit afterwards because it will stink but it kills lice and their eggs. Wash everything you can. Leave Mayo with tea tree oil in their hair and put bags or suran wrap over their hair for a few hours. Then comb their hair with a lice comb and wash their hair and go back thru it with a second (clean/new) lice comb.

Don’t forget to delice the vechile
My two girls with long thick hair had lice. After using RID and it doing nothing their pediatrician told me to wash their hair, no conditioner, get the excess water out with a towel and then cover their scalp and hair with cetaphil. Then blow their hair dry, with the Cetaphil still in their hair. (I dried their hair while they were watching a movie.) then repeat in 2 days. This kills the lice and then in 2 days it will kill the nits that survived the first process. Also, don’t forget to vacuum your car.
Tea tree oil gets rid of lice. The nits…lice comb it out. Put out any material contaminated such as bedding, sheets, clothing etc. Wash in warm or hot water or if its cold put the items in a garbage bag and set outside for a few days. Keep children home for 14 days( isolation) hen out tea tree oil on the stem of each child’s neck lice don’t like tea tree oil and its natural and it works! Best of luck! Also, put all brushes and combs in boiling water.

Get a script for SK Lice at the doctor. My kids got it from the kids I used to babysit and we had it gone within a week after using the prescription.
Mayo is the cheapest when it comes to doing a lot of people. Slather everybodies head and put shower caps on and sleep over night. Wash the next am and start combing through the hair. EVERY PIECE OF FABRIC needs to go through the washer. Sheet towels clothes rugs ECT. Bag everything so it’s not sitting out to reinfest clean items. Spray all beds couches carpet ECT that can’t be washed. The eggs hatch like every 7 days so I did a every 5 days interval for 3-4 works. Make sure to spray your car as well. I used it as a spring cleaning and just started throwing shit away. My son got sick of mayo and I just ended up buzzing his hair real short but it was one hell of a battle. I’m dreading the school year already just thinking about it. Best of luck

For you - colour your hair if you’re able. The dye kills them.
Use tea tree oil constantly. In a water oil spray, in their shampoo and conditioner. Even spray the not combs with it
Don’t even bother using chemicals. They’re immune to it now. All you have to do is sit there and comb all their hair with a knit comb and they’ll be gone. Do it for a few days to make sure everything is out.
It’s literally picking out every single knit and washing every single pillow and blanket

Just shave the boys head hair grows back a d what I was told with the girls run a hair straighter through that was a nurse it worked perfect then doors of laundry or take stuff to the laundry mat it’s alot but it works bag all stuffed animals.

Mayo! It’s literally the only thing I have found that works. Slather that on, put on a cap (bag) and blow dry and leave on but try to stay in the sun or warm area for at least an hour.
Don’t forget your house. Put all toys, barbies etc in the dryer. Bug bomb you house, do not forget your car and ALL of the clothes in your house.
Use olive oil to soak the hair, you can use shower caps let it stay on over night or for while through the day. Then comb all through the hair. Wash the olive oil out and rinse with vinegar. The metal lice combs are to best to use. For about a week after I would comb my girls hair every night while it was soaked in conditioner. The conditioner really helps. It slows the bugs down and helps to remove the nits. Just make sure you rinse the comb often.
Coat there heads in mayo, leave over night and then wash with apple cider vinegar in the morning
Tea tree oil in the shampoo helped keep them out of my daughter’s hair. I had a hard time getting rid of them but with over the counter stuff and cleaning everything fabric and use the spray too for mattresses and couches. Good luck to the family.
I had to have a dr prescribe my daughter something because over the counter nix or rid was helping. It was called Ovide I think thats the name of it.

You also have to wash, shampoo, and spray all stuffed animals, furniture, beds. So while treating their hair, and yours spray down everything. My kids had lice we got the 10$ lice spray the dollar store sells it smells like licorice, but it works.
My aunt battled super lice the only thing that worked was a electric comb that kills as you brush
Diatomaceous earth. Also change sheets and Pajamas/new clothes everyday. Because they live on pillowcases etc…
See a licensed lice treatment specialist though there is so much to the treatment of lice and to get rid of them once you go you will know what to do

I worked at the Dallas County Children’s shelter. Where kids were brought in when removed from their homes, we used Qeill shampoo, on every kids before they were released into the general populations and it did the trick every time, never has a problem.
Mix one part alcohol with one part listerine. Saturate hair and put a plastic bag over it. Leave on for about 30 mins. Shake head out over the tub then starts combing them out… after that. Do a mayo treatment and comb and pick out lice. I always wash out with dawn dish soap
Lice treatment, then every few days do dog flea shampoo to kill any new hatchings have everyone on the same schedule. stay on top of bedding!! Goodluck!!!

Honestly I went and rented a motel for 3 days and treated everyone immediately upon arrival lice can’t live after 72 hrs without contact with host. We kept getting rid of it and it kept coming back for months until I did that

I know sounds crazy but mix this in your shampoo and I promise they all die it’s absolutely crwzy then you most definitely want to deep conditioning and spray tea tree oul on your hair every day and back neck promise
coat hair in olive oil and wrap scalp with plastic wrap.
you’ll have to clean all your clothing, bedding, towels ect in hot water. stuffed animals placed in a trash bag and vacuum sealed (you can use the hose of your vacuum cleaner) tie bags shut and place away, I cant remember for how long (google how long lice live without a host). you’ll have to vacuum and carpet clean your carpets, beds and couches. make sure you immediately remove the discarded vacuum waist from your house. you’ll have to do the hair probably every day make sure you’re combing out the dead lice and eggs between wrap and olive oil changes.
contrary to popular believe lce looooove clean hair, it makes it easier for them to move around. oily scalps make it harder for them to survive.

Everyone has to treat their head at the same time ( same day) after treating and washing pour room temp Coca Cola on hair and massage in then rinse and shampoo. It makes the eggs and nits fall off the hair. Then you can comb or pick anything else out. All covers should be washed, beds, pillows, furniture, car seats, stuffed animals etc should be sprayed with the rid spray. Vacuum all carpets, spray brushes and let sit then rinse with boiling water. It’s a grueling all day and half the night process with a family that big but it’s the only way to actually get rid of them. Then you need to check heads daily for a week, pull any leftover nit or egg you may have missed and watch for a bug and if you see one retreat heads. A lot of people don’t think about spraying the seats in their vehicles and kids car seats but it needs to be done

after you have treated everyone in the house you will need to get rid of thier mattresses and couches and chairs any cloth items that cannot go in the washer. when my daughter was younger she got them over and over again it seemed like it would never end. i finally found out ta tshe was getting them from my babysitter i talked to my hairdresser and she told me after treating my daughter several times after my sitter was no longer around that they can live in beds, couchs etc for months as soon as i got everything replaced never had an issue after
Message me! I have a way! That works every time! My oldest got it 2 times and has hair down to her butt! I got rid of it over night. And have given my tips to a lot of people and it has worked!! For 9 people depending on hair thickness and length could take a solid $100 but will go away over night.
Use lice shampoo treatment clean all washable stuff bedding everting in hot water. Hot water kills them and the eggs. Tea tree oil keeps them away I use 1 bottle in each shampoo and conditioner as well as in any leave in conditioner. You have to throw away combs and brushes and use only the lice comb until they are gone. Then you can start fresh with new brushes and combs. Plastic hair elastic for girls

The only thing that is going to work is picking each and every bug and knit out of the hair by hand, everything else is basically a gimmick, look it up, live shampoos do not work anymore, live have adapted and become immune to it, I went to hell and back with lice, and when my daughter caught them again I wouldn’t waste my money on any products, I just did it all by hand, you have to be very vigilant, do it everyday for about a week, I also found it helped to run a hair straightener from scalp to tip on every inch of the hair every night, to help burn up any you may have missed. Like I said it is straight up misery, but I’ve tried every home remedy, every over the counter, shocking Combs that shock the bugs, lice are literally something from nightmares!

Hair dye is the cheapest and easiest way to get it out. A week later use apple cider vinegar. Worked for us! Mayo left our hair so unbelievably greasy and the smell omg. You can even use light hair dye on dark hair and you won’t notice dye.
I bought stuff called Zapp. Stinks so much but really worked. Take every piece of hair and find alll the eggs. I always blow dryer and straighten my girls hair. And anything with fluff has to be washed or put in a garbage bag tied tight for over 2 weeks. Plus for the weeks following i put a few drops of Tea tree oil in a spray bottle and sprayed my kids hairs every day. Didn’t smell the best but I wanted to make sure it never came back.
Apple cider vinegar, soak over night with a cap. Rinse and wash with saue coconut shampoo and conditioner. Comb out bigs and nits. Once dry add coconut oil for overnight. Continue to use the saue. They hate coconut
Put all fabric toys ect in plastic bags. Put away for 4 weeks ( they say 2 but I do 4 ) I get all clothes clean or dirty and wash and dry . If you dont have time to do it all at once put the ones you cant do in garbage bags and put away till you can , dont get into them . Treat hair and blow dry hair . Get lice furniture spray and spray all carpets and fabrics. Wipe down everything with lysol wipes . I also 7sex clairol hair mouse on kids hair lice hate it and wont lay eggs . Redo hair once a week for two weeks and dont let laundry lay around keep it in hampers with garbage bags in them and wash daily to keep up on it . If you have pets wash with flea soap and for cats use a flea powder or spray .
Don’t just treat the hair the whole house needs to be treated if they have stuffed animals and u got carpet they can live in that and get back on head
Buy the spray for starters. Take everything and wash it, blankets sheets stuffed animals. What you can’t wash, couches and such, spray. Spray carpets rugs all of it… Then you have to treat everyone at the same time this all has to happen the same day. Make sure to pick every single nit, bug, anything out of every single head after treatment. Then check everyone everyday for a week! Its a pain but the only way to get rid of it. For prevention for the future, tea tree oil in your conditioner and buy the leave in spray
Use diatomaceous earth. It’s $20 a bag at your local farm feed and supply store. Sprinkle it in the hair using a glass salt or pepper shake. Leave it in for several hours then wash and dry hair. Use the hair dryer for as long and hot as you everyone can stand it. Sprinkle the diatomaceous earth in the carpet and on the furniture. Leave overnight and vacuum up the next day. Repeat this every day for a good week. DE breaks down the skeleton of the lice and kills them. It’s cheaper than most methods and works really well.

Alchohol, straight up kills
For your hair. Olive oil with about 15 drops of essential tea tree oil and about 15 drops of essential lavender oil. You have to mix them into a carrier oil like olive oil or coconut oil. Let it sit for an hour. Repeat for a couple of days. Along with combing out nits and the standard house cleaning.
Call your pediatrician and ask for prescription strength lice shampoo.
Tea tree oil in conditioner let sit in hair the rinse out. Putting a few drops in every bottle of your shampoo and conditioner will keep it from.comimg back

You have to wash EVERYTHING IN HOT WATER, put pillows, stuffed animals and anything that can’t be washed in airtight containers(plastic bags),etc on top of getting out all the nits and bugs, spray all the furniture… you get the idea. Good luck
If you go to the ER they will prescribe you something that is really strong for the headline. My aunt had to do it with my cousin since she was infested with head lice.
Pediatricians office will prescribe you a treatment, place on head, 10 mins, rinse out wash hair as usual, it’s great!
Tea tree oil… saturate the scalp easier for the boys…but the girls also include about 2-3 inches of hair as well. Times I seen, by the time the 2nd half of the head is completed, lice have already begun to die on the first.comb out with lice comb and leave a shower cap on all night.
When my son got lice from his cousin the ONLY thing that got rid of it was shaving his head getting mine and my partners hair cut and retreating literally everything. If you don’t wanna buy everything all over again I’d suggest bug bombing the house retreating your hair and still washing and isolating your stuffed items for about a week after wards just to be safe.
Cedarcide, it’s simply cedar oil and is the only thing I ever found to work.

My mom battled with these critters for a long time with my siblings and I. She always shaved the boys head but as far as sister and I she used all the different products she could get her hands on. The Mayo worked most of the time it smothers the live bugs and the greasyness help with getting the bugs and nits out with both the comb and by hand. I swear up and down though the extra virgin olive oil was best friend the last time I had them. It takes a lot of time and continuously to get rid of them. Wash everything you can with hot water and bag up the rest. Vacuum and spry down all furniture and carpet. Tea tree oil does help keep them away
Shampoo & blow dry all their heads every day. Heat helps kill them. Toss all the bedding and stuffed animals and wash them all and dry them in dryer. I would get them all individual brushes. Keep your eye on all them for a while. With so many kids it may take a minute to get rid of them. Maybe keep the boys hair shorter for now?
!! “Denorex extra strength” dandruff shampoo! I PROMISE this works so well! It’s literally the only thing that worked when we went through this! Lather it up, wrap your hair up in a tshirt, towel, whatever and let it sit about 5-10 min, it will get a little tingley! It works! Kills them all, comb them out, and then just keep shampooing with the denorex as normal for a week or two. You WILL also need to wash all bedding and spray everything with lysol and I put all stuffed animals, pillows, etc in trash bags for a week.
You have to take all the beddings pillows blankets sheets in the whole house wash in hot water get rid of all toys stuffed animals you have to either throw out or put in plastic bags and tie and keep for a while and wash all brushes combs in hot water and I believe you can get a bomb and bomb the house but you have to stay out
And buy the rid over the counter and go through each head carefully with thin comb
Vaseline and a shower cap have them sleep in it the Vaseline will help the eggs be able to slide right out I bought new pillows for my kids when they got it I bought the bed bug plastic sheets from Walmart for like $20 a piece and I bought a new set of bedding and bagged all of their bedding into a black trash bag and left it sit outside in the hot sun for two weeks then washed in color safe bleach and ran in dry like 4xs and Bug bombed my house
