I had constant morning sickness 24 hrs a day for the entire 9 months of both my pregnancies and was vomiting up until the day they were born!! Unfortunately, thereās not a lot u can do to stop it, but I found that ginger beer helped, ginger nut biscuits, cloudy apple juice and plain crackers, and vegemite toast, cut up into tiny bite-sized squares so I could just pop them in my mouth without having to chew too much, accompanied by a cup of hot sweet strong tea (made by my wonderful husband) before I got out of bed in the mornings went a long way to helping me cope with the constant nausea and vomiting. I also had several miscarriage along the way, and each time I was about to miscarry, the sickness abruptly stopped, as though a switch had been flicked off and then I would lose the baby a day or two later, so when I was pregnant with my daughters, even though I hated the sickness, I took it as a sign my babies were still alive and well and healthy inside me.
Grate fresh ginger and have a mug with the ginger and hot water worked for me many moons ago
I love Bonjesta. Only thing that helped me get through my last pregnancy.
Rootbeer it helps a ton! Also avocados, when youāre super morning sick itās a sign your magnesium is low. Avocados are a great natural way to raise it, plus all the other health benefits.
Gatorade and saltines .
Get a fresh lemons! Cut in prices put in a slices in a small zip lock bag. Inhale the smell with your nose. Do not eat! It stops nausea!! I was nauseated all throughout my 6 pregnancies it really works. Was sick 24/7. In and out of hospital. Till I found out about this!
Whatever time you supposed to get upset your alarm for half hour earlier stay flat eat some crackers so when you get up your belly isnāt empty and empty belly is no good.
Gingernut biscuits
I couldnāt find anything that worked in the first trimester. I took zofran with my first 2, but now it isnāt recommended for 1st trimester. So I dealt with the 1st trimester and started zofran in the second one.
I took diclectin as my nausea was so bad with my thirdā¦. It helped but made me tired. My baby girl was born perfectly healthy. If you donāt want to take meds, Try ginger ale, crackers, keep something bland in your tummy at all times. The nausea is from fluctuating Horomones that cause blood sugar to fluctuate. Try a protein shake to help keep your sugars stable and hopefully you can get it down easily. It is awful but the prize at the end is worth it !
I have had 8 children and I always had either soda crackers or graham cracker on a plate next to my bed. Would eat 4 sometimes 6 lay there for a bit then get up, it helped with the morning sickness
Popsicles are what got me through on this pregnancy Iām on
Preggie pops! They sell then at Target, CVS, Walmart
My dr gave me diclegis itās nausea medication when I was pregnant with my first(sheās 6 months old) I was literally puking everything and anything I ate or drank but diclegis is around $300, over the counter would be B6 and half a tab of unisom thatās the main ingredient for diclegis itās safe and not harmful.
Cola syrup! Helps with nausea and you can order it on Amazon. It helped me when I would feel nauseous during my last pregnancy. Just a spoonful or 2 is enough!
I would drink anything with lemon and it would help.
My doctor prescribed me a little pill to take every morning it desolves on your tongue I was having terrible morning sickness all day everyday for almost 2 monthsā¦I got those pills and they worked amazingly
Peppermint gum and or zofran is fine to take
Ginger, peppermint, toast, crackers worked with my other pregnancies. I just had my baby a week ago and had to take Bonjesta at the early stages cause nothing else worked. Bonjesta is just a form of vit B.
Sea sickness bands from a pharmacy. They worked wonders for me!
I second the ginger, as long as you donāt suffer from low blood pressure or have only one kidney. Ginger is miraculous!!
Ginger oil rolled behind your ears. Idk how it works but it did for me.
I had hypermesis in all 4 of my pregnancies and an empty stomach was my enemy. I had to force myself to eat even just one cracker and sip smoothies all day
Might be the prenatal vitamins switch to flinestones i did and the sickness stopped
Soda crackers and room temp ginger ale.
This is your babyās health weāre also talking about. I chose to refrain from medication and did crackers and ginger ale.
My morning/all day long sickness only lasted about six months. Some people itās only 3. Some have it the whole time.
Eat small amounts frequently. There are so many people that rush to get meds for things and although everything they prescribe is supposedly safe, keep in mind there are always side effects. Best of luck to you and your baby.
Graze throughout the day salted crackers, ginger biscuits, nuts and seeds are very handy snacks. Dont eat anything rich blander foods are often easier to keep down. Get your bloods done my thyroid levels went haywire when I was pregnant vomited the whole way through lost 3 stone was back up to my pre pregnancy weight by full term but still def get the bloods done
Eat small and often. Never let yourself get hungry. Eat bland food. Chicken helped meā¦ Duno why!
I couldnāt tolerate the iron in prenatal vitamins. I lost 37 lbs, weighed 139 down to 102lbs at 6 months. My doctor switched me to a vitamin without iron.
I was sick all the time when I was pregnant with my daughter. The only thing that seemed to help was crackers. Your doctor should be able to prescribe something that will help you as well as be safe for your baby. Congratulations by the way
For me, it was so bad I had to take Diclectin and gravol. It helped
I used to eat crackers and ginger ale.
For me eating gingerbread cookies, and sipping on ginger ale or hot tea helped .
Ginger ANYTHING helps. Saltines, surprisingly lemonade worked for me. They also make suckers for morning sickness. Check Amazon out!
Ginger candy, ginger ale, ginger or peppermint tea, and never let your tummy get empty. Always keep crackers on hand. Some women say chewing gum helps too.
You could also ask your dr for zofran. Keep in mind though that zofran can make you very constipated, so Iād take a stool softener with it. Zofran works!
Crackers by the bed. I ate 2-3 before my feet ever hit the floor every morning.
Talk to your doctor again.
I kept saltines at my bedside. Flat ginger ale helped as well for me. Ginger root tea (boil some ginger root for a bit). If you are throwing up a lot make sure you are still hydrating even though you want nothing in your stomach to throw up again it is vital you keep hydrated. Most times it wonāt be an all day thing but it can be. If it continues to be bad go to the doctor again to make sure you and baby are still ok. Talk to a pharmacist about the medications sometimes they know a bit more than people pushing them on you.
Your stomach goes to the left. So if you lay on your left the acid should stay in stomach. Extra pillow to raise you slightly too will help. Other than that the ladies are pretty spot on.
Guava nectar is the best for nausea for me. I also rub peppermint oil on the back of my neck and it helps a lot
Diclectin, essentially pregnancy gravol
Carry sliced up lemons in a zip lock w you and breath in when nausea hits
Keep saltiness and a glass of water by your bed. First thing each morning before you get up and move around at all, eat 2 or so and have a few sips of water. Idk why it works but it helped me. Doesnāt work if you even go pee beforehand though.
Pheneghran. I took it through 2 pregnancies and both of my kids are great. If you have hg, peppermint or tea or crackers just isnāt going to cut it at all. I know because I tried. Imo, itās more dangerous for the baby to not get the nutrients it needs because you arenāt .
Ginger ale, ritz crackers
Keep something to eat handy always, and always keep a little something in your belly it truly does help as well as having a drink to sip on .
An old fashioned remedy from back in the early days of life is before you get out of bed in the morning nibble on saltine crackers and drink warm 7UP.
What worked for me was simply lying down and getting rest, soda crackers gingerale, seven.up to ease the nausea, even a bowl of chicken noodle soup helped this will eventually pass
FIRST OFF ALL YāALL LAUGHINGā¦ HOPE YA GET MORNING SICKNESS ALL 9 MONTHS BECAUSE IT SUCKS. Anyways I had it like that pretty much for both my pregnancies and they prescribed stuff that didnāt help at all. You kinda gotta ride it out unfortunately. Just going with it actually is healthier for the most part than taking a pill. Just be sure to stay hydrated and take it easy.
Eat small lots of crackers peppermint and sprite
i had morning sickness very badly , i was told that in the mornin when u wake up , BEFORE your feet hit the floor eat some type of snack, like some crackers or bread (even if u dont want to) n it should help a bit
Smoke a joint or edible
I had horrible all day sickness, but worse in the mornings. My doc, who had been an obgyn for over 40 yrs, told me to put crackers and water by my bed at night and when I wake up in the morning to eat the crackers BEFORE sitting up and it helped so much. Best of luck!
The Pink Stork brand has these drops that had ginger and B6 that helped almost instantly with my nausea while pregnant. Theyāre on Amazon and Iāve also seen them in Target.
My doctor told me to take b6 vitamin at night along with the sleeping medicine unisom. It worked miracles for me. Plus it helps you sleep! Safe and effective
Zofran was a lifesaver for me.
Ginger, peppermint, chewing on fennel seeds helps. I was so sick with my son nothing helped and when I was pregnant with my daughter my Dr told me to take B6 twice a day with unison, a full tablet at night and a half of a tablet in the morning. It really helped
Usually they wonāt give you something that would hurt baby. I found that if you keep something small in your stomach frequently throughout the day nausea is reduced. Try not to eat big meals as well. Iām pregnant with twins, this helped me greatly
Bonjesta worked really well for me but it is expensive after you run out of samples and order from pharmacy. My OB recommended B6 and a unisom which I took before bed each night. I was a little unsure about taking unisom because I didnāt want to fall too hard into a sleep because I have 2 other children, but it was fine and it did help with the sickness.
Peppermint worked well for me, saltine crackers and small sips of water
Jessica Nicole Luntzer
Iām currently 12 weeks and my morning sickness was the worst itās ever been and this is my second pregnancy I was put on a zofran pump connected to my stomach everyday and I swear itās a lifesaver Iām actually able to go out in society now although I still donāt lol
Ginger tea with honey before bed.
I was prescribed Zofran and the chemicals did me more harm than good. I eventually got ahold of 5mg CBD gummy bears and I would take two a day. No cramps, no sickness. And itās natural
Zofran is not good to take before 12 weeks as it can cause birth defects. Was told by 2 different OBs. Iāve been on 6 different anti neasea medicine. And the only one that worked for me was promethazine but it does make you tired. You can take it anally so it makes you less tired or pill form. Iām 27 weeks and still neaseous and throwing up sometimes
Before they Prescribe you any anti nausea meds do your research first. Zofran helps yeah but it seems I did my research a little too late
Vitamin b6 and unisom together
I wonāt take zofran cuz of the birth defects lawsuit I saw once but I was taking promethizene and it worked wonders.
Bonjesta is safe! (Ingredients are unisom and vitamin b6) just like diclegis but itās time released. Zofran is also safe and helpful!
Nothing helped me sick everyday of pregnancy.
Saltines on your night stand and eat 2-3 before getting out of bed. Makes crumbs in bed but helped me out.
There is these preggie pop drops or something like that theyāre called but they like candy and have vitamin b6 and stuff in them that helps with morning sicknessā¦ They helped me when I wasnāt feeling great during pregnancy and they tasted good too lol
All them medications can cause problems. They gave me medication for heart burn cause my son to be born tongue tied. I wouldnāt take any meds u do not have to!
Sucking on peppermint candy helped me a lot
They should give you a needle in the butt I had one when I had morning sickness for 3 months with my daughter
