I did not. I was smoking weed til I found out at 9 weeks I was pregnant. I quit. I would stop while your ahead. That baby is worth more than any drug. Good luck

I live in Missouri and they absolutely did urine drug test me for EVERY DRUG at my 8 week intake appt.

Iâm going to play devils advocate. She very plainly stated she JUST found out she is pregnant. You donât know if she will still actively use or if she is going to try and stop. If you go into your OB appt and are up front and honest and ask for help in quitting using they will help you.

If this a legit question and is really happening to someone in real life, I will say this, get clean, stay sober, just because u made the choice of doing drugs, does not mean that your baby made that same choice, because he or she does not have that right yet. Also, if u feel like u donât want to keep the baby, that u donât think u can provide for the child, then please feel free to contact me, my husband and I would love to have a child to love and to take care of.

My dr tested at the beginning of my pregnancy at the end and then at birth never a issue with me cause I didnât so drugsđ¤ˇââď¸

At my obgyn the first appointment they do test you. An I think one random while pregnant then one before you have the baby.

It depends on location. Some places itâs mandatory in the panels and itâs not. In Texas I had my son 2019 and was not tested for anything(viewing your chart and itemized bill will help and they are legally required to tell you if you ask).
I donât believe that they do until after birth but if u just found out ur pregnant and u plan to keep the baby or put it up for adoption, maybe this will help u get clean u didnât specify what drug u use but they can probably help u with getting clean

No they donât just test because it costs money. They do not test unless they have reason or suspicion, Iâm positive of that. But remember sometimes they suspect things and itâs not true. Sometimes they suspect things and it is true. Sometimes theyâre tipped off, it just depends. Hoping itâs nothing serious.

If you were 6 months and knew all along ok maybe I could see a little judgement but noone knows your situation honey. Just be honest with your ob and try to get clean. Depending on what it is, i.e. methadone for example the drs wonât let you come off the drugs. So take into account your individual situation. Good luck to you and FUCK these judgemental ass folksâşď¸

Life is some shit like that, but yes. They drug tested me with both children. They follow up on drug tests and if the child is found to have it after birth will be a CPS case.

No they do not check for drugs. Iâve had three kids and during my last pregnancy I had smoked some weed because I was having a nervous breakdown. Not once did my OBGYN mention anything. They have to have a legitimate reason for them to check

I live in Texas. I had to give a urine sample every time I went and saw my ob. They said they test it for drugs along with other things as well.
