My thing is that this is supposed to be a “moms group” where we offer and help and support to each other but instead on every single post I’ve ever seen, everyone is nasty, opinionated, and most of the time, does not offer much guidance or support. Very sad to see and will definitely be leaving the group. Good luck to the rest of you mamas- hopefully I’ll find a more supportive group to join.
And to the mama posting: Obviously great call with immediate medical attention (I’m a RN) but also did you see it in the toilet and your daughter told you? Definitely possible for a period to happen even so young and I would reflect on diet, people around my child (just to be safe), any possible reasons. Hopefully you guys figure it out, good luck!

My niece and nephew had a rare genetic thingy and my niece started her period at 6 yrs old and they both had pubic hair. The doctor had to give them both shots to stop puberty
It is totally possible… a Peruvian girl named Lina Medina had a child at 5…
Which means periods can and do happen at a very early stage for us.

It’s uncommon but possible.
A childhood friend of mine started at almost 8 y/o, it’s possible… But since you are already having consultations, I would wait for what the doctor says…
It’s becoming more common for young girls to start earlier and earlier, but when I was little this would happen to me and it was always a bad uti. My friends young son went thru something similar and it ended up being some thyroid issue.
I have a friend who stated that early, she also had to wear bras at that age
My daughter was 7 and has indemetriosis now. The gynecologist she used at that age said it was all of the hormones and steroids they put into our beef chicken etc nowadays that causes them to mature earlier and earlier. So it’s very possible.

She needs to go to a pediatric endocrinologist.

I can NOT imagine having a period at 6! Poor poor baby!

Yes. I did. Have her checked for hormones problems such as PCOS. That’s what caused me start early

I don’t know if that’s possible or not. If she has her period already I feel really bad for her. Periods fucking suck.
I had a period at 7 yrs old and it stopped and then again began at 9 yrs old so yes it’s possible my older sister was the same and both of us were done with menspause at 42 I’m 66 yrs old now!

It could be possible. I have a few aunties and my sisters that started at 8yo. I was 9 when I started mine
yes, unfortunately it is possible.
Yes, my daughter started at 7, we were referred to specialist and she had gone into early puberty… explained all the other things happening with her , growing pubic hair, boobies, mood swings and was so much taller than her class mates…
She is now taking a hormone blocking injection every 3 months and will continue to get this until around 12
It has stopped her periods and will stop her growing etc like she has been, so when she stops the injection puberty will start again and the idea is she will grow everywhere else like she’s meant too.
Girls are getting periods earlier. Also UTI issues can cause blood like that so can sexual abuse.
Definitely is possible for sure
Look at a refferal to a pediatrician who will check for precocious puberty. My daughter had this and it started with BO

Get her a referral to Endocrinologist… to check her out, they will do testing and check her ke tos and it could be early puberty and if it is, they can stop it with treatment… it’s scary but they can definitely help, xx’s

I started at 8 but it said I started early due to sexual abuse. Usually it’s either something like that or a condition which onsets puberty early. Poor baby I can’t even imagine how much that freaked her out

Yes it’s possible because it happened to me in the 5th grade.

It is possible for a child to go through early puberty. My now almost 2 year old started getting body odor at 1, and the pediatrician said to watch for other signs of early puberty so we could stay on top of how to help her.
One of the youngest mothers was Lina Medina from Peru…She Gave Birth in 1939. When she was 5 years, 7 months old. So yes.

Yep it’s early puberty. I started puberty at 6. Had everything but my period. She probably has some hormone thing. She’ll be ok.

I did that when I was little. Turned out the tube between my bladder and my kidneys wasn’t working.

Yes it is, I started at 7 and it was not handled right, first off the doctor told my mother to keep me away from boys because I can get pregnant and said that in front of me I was humiliated and then I shared a queen size bed with my little sister and my mom told me to stay away from my sister in case she some how felt that I was wearing a pad and God forbid she would want one too, all this made me feel so dirty,if your daughter is an early starter, please support her on her new journey

This happened to my 8 year old son recently. A one time random thing.
I took my child to an endocrinologist when she was younger because of body odor and hair growth. She said that products with lavender and tea tree oil can also cause precocious puberty.

My 8 year old just started hers. Dr did run test to rule out anything like they did urine, and cotton swab down there to rule out strep since we can get it down there also which I had no idea about lol and made sure of no uti butt she also stated some girls can start as early as 6
I got mine when I was 8…it could be possible
Dr should of checked hormone levels in blood test done.

I got mine around the same age. So yes it’s very possible, but if it was just for one day that’s the concerning part. Good luck mamma

My 6 year old go to a endocrinologist and she’s have puberty hair down their like we would not as much but yea you can see it. They say it her hormones and that they have things they can help with
A couple women in my family have started at the ages of 8 and 9. It’s very young, but not unheard of.
I don’t know if this is the reason or not but if she’s around anyone that has taken the c shot, that’s one of the side effects. If you’ve had it you can transmit it to others. Lots of children starting early, miscarriages, women that have been through menopause are bleeding again. If you want to watch a video on it go to bitchute and in the search box type in Dr. Sherri Tenpenny.

She really needs to see a specialist
Unfortunately yes. My daughter was 5. I was freaked out since I thought someone did something to her. Tool her to the doc immediately and sure enough it was a period. She saw an endocrinologist and gets shots every month to stop her from going through puberty to early. Talk to your doc.

It can happen in some children. It’s not usual though.
However, there’s also conditions that can cause early on set puberty so ask for her to be checked for everything.
I was fortunate 17, menopause late 40s lastest 6 months!!

This is shocking. It’s hard to believe and also very scary for all the possible reasons our daughters are starting their periods so early. In ‘96 I stared mine at 12, the average age at that time.

has she been eating lots of beets? I know it sounds dumb lol but that can turn the urine a really nice shade of red?

I started at 9 had to start wearing actual bras when I was 7-8 years old. I would see if they can check her hormone levels and see if thats the cause.

Yes generally should see endocrinologist
All the chemicals they put in our damn food
I went thru puberty SO early, didn’t start till 10 for period tho. I had early puberty signs at about 7, both my boys have early
Onset of puberty and have to see a endocrine dr.
Precocious puberty is a possibility… see a “pediatric endocrinologist.” It’s Treated with hormones to slow down the premature aging…

Very possible. Especially in the overly processed food world we live in! I hope it’s not tho. Poor baby. I have a 6yr old and I’m terrified to think about when she’ll start hers.

1 started on my 14th birthday! Had a friend start at 9 ! Good luck
If she’s been around vaxxed people I wonder if it could have caused it. I know since the shots started my cycle has been bizarre. Hopefully just a one time thing. She’s just a baby herself

I started at 9 years old, all 3 of my daughter’s Starred at 11, so just depends
There are many factors. I’m glad you had her checked. Things like a pituitary issue, biological disorders like pcos, stress, and sexual assault can all cause this.

Did the check her immune levels??

I’m glad it hasn’t happened to me personally but my friends child had the same thing to go an find out she was self pleasuring her self with objects and it cut her up inside just watch ur child when they go silent so u can make sure she is okay
Yes! This happened with my daughter. She had strong body odor since age 2 and grew very fast. Took her to an endocrinologist. She ended up with body hair and breast budding by age 6. I did a ton of research because I did not want her to get hormone treatments. After speaking to a lot of other moms that went through it, I did what they did. I switched her to an all organic diet. Bought only meat with no hormones etc. And holy crap it WORKED! Body odor, gone!!! After years of doctors telling us she would have a period so young this worked! It’s awful what’s in our food. It goes straight to our kids bodies, all those hormones they’re injecting into them. I couldn’t believe it. I was able to slow it down to age 10 with no medication! Worth a shot. It’s amazing what it did for us!

I would def have bloodwork done and some test run. 6yo seems awfully young. I’m wondering if something is overproducting in her body

Peeing blood is usually kidney and bladder issues. She could have a UTI, kidney stones, or even an ovarian cyst. Don’t panic yet.

When I urinated a full stream of blood it was a cyst that had burst. You dont urinate blood when you have your period. The hospital should have checked all of that

Another point of view you may consider: Kidney issues? I would hope not, but my step sister had kidney issues (don’t remember to actual name of the condition…) and she would bleed a lot sometimes

She might need to see a gynecologist, don’t want to alarm you but sexual activity can bring on a period

My maternal grandmother started at 8, my mom started at 8 and I started at 9…. It can be genetics but you definitely need to make sure you do the follow up care if it is. Some bodies just start super earlier.

Yes I started my period when I was 7 years old. It’s early but it does happen. My parents took me to specialist but I just started my period, I know it’s scary and she’s young but it’ll be okay. I know some people are saying it could be due to abuse but I was never abused.

POTS can cause this. Have them do a tilt table test on her, definitely get her to an endocrinologist so they can get her on meds. You do not want her in early puberty. It can cause her to have a lot of problems.

Not saying this ur daughters case but 4 ur mind sake .I was told that it can sometimes happen in really young children but bot very often.

Definitely get her to a endocrinologist…It is possible, but most likely there is an imbalance for her to start so young. Some girls are earlier bloomers…

That’s way too young to start a period. I’ve heard of women starting at 10 or 11 but never 6. Why does she have bad body odor? I make my kids take a shower every day and she shouldn’t stink unless there’s something going on inside her body as long as she’s doing proper hygiene. Definitely have her kidneys checked. Did they check her for a uti?

Strong body odor and hairy legs at that young age, I agree with those recommending an endocrinologist. Myself and my brother were under the age of 5 with strong body odor and body odor.
I don’t want to alarm you but sometimes children starting their period that early could be a sign of sexual abuse!
